Digital Product Manager (Senior)

As a Senior Digital Product Manager, you will drive the evolution of our content ecosystem and the supporting digital experience platform across our 7 operating company websites, enhancing the experience for over 2.3 million monthly users. Your primary goal will be to ensure these websites effectively meet both user and business needs, with a focus on public-facing content and functionality. You will define a clear product vision, develop a strategic roadmap in partnership with key stakeholders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring that vision to life.

What You'll Do:

  • Understand and Represent User Needs Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and behavioral analysis to generate insights that inform product direction and meaningfully improve the customer experience.
  • Define and Drive Product Vision Establish a clear product vision aligned to business goals, and translate that vision into a strategic, prioritized roadmap. Manage the product backlog to maximize value and maintain focus across teams.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Product Team Define product objectives and lead a cross-functional team of designers, developers, user experience researchers, and writers to deliver engaging, user-friendly, and accessible websites. Drive alignment and progress through influence in a matrixed environment, prioritizing work to ensure team momentum while clearly communicating expectations and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Lead Content Ecosystem Strategy Define ownership and governance across content types and lifecycle stages. Implement processes that ensure content quality, consistency, compliance, and alignment across operating companies.
  • Evaluate and Optimize the Product Identify and track key performance indicators such as user engagement, ease of use, and conversion rates to measure product effectiveness. Continuously optimize the digital experience based on data insights, user feedback, and evolving communication goals to improve clarity, usability, and overall effectiveness.
  • Foster Team and Product Evolution Promote cross-team collaboration and alignment, identify capability gaps, and support continuous improvement in both product outcomes and team effectiveness. Continually develop your skills to support career growth in the field.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, user experience, technology, or a related field plus 6 years of experience delivering digital products, OR
  • Associate degree with 8 years of related experience, OR
  • High school diploma / GED with 10 years of experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience owning and optimizing large-scale, customer-facing digital experiences, with a proactive, self-driven approach to identifying opportunities and driving progress.
  • Proven ability to drive alignment and deliver outcomes across matrixed organizations, using strong interpersonal awareness and adaptive communication to engage stakeholders and accelerate progress.
  • Experience leading implementations of headless content management systems (e.g., Storyblok, Contentful), with an understanding of content governance, structured content models, and multi-site ecosystems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong data-driven approach to decision-making, including the ability to translate insights into clear product actions and measurable outcomes.
  • Comprehension of web technologies such as React, TypeScript/JavaScript, REST APIs, and the experiences they enable to set a compelling product vision.
  • Rapid prototyping in HTML/CSS using browser developer tools to quickly show possibilities to stakeholders.
  • Understanding of user-centric web performance metrics such as Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS), bounce rate, page load time, and conversion rate.
  • Knowledge of electric utility audiences and market.
  • Product Manager or Product Owner certification.
