Why this role is important:
The Digital Product Manager, Risk Platforms & Strategy is responsible for driving the planning, prioritization, and delivery of digital capabilities that support Fraud and Credit Risk strategies across digital channels. This role sits at the intersection of product, data, analytics, and risk, partnering closely with Fraud, Credit Risk, Engineering, and Data teams to build scalable, data-driven solutions that improve decisioning, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate combines strong digital product management fundamentals with analytical thinking and experience working in data-intensive environments. Candidates with experience in data engineering, analytics platforms, or risk systems are highly valued.

What You'll Do
Product Ownership

  • Own and manage the product backlog for risk-related digital capabilities, ensuring priorities align with business goals, customer experience, and risk strategy outcomes.
  • Drive delivery of new platform features, enhancements, integrations, reporting capabilities, and workflow optimizations.

Risk & Data Strategy Partnership

  • Partner closely with Fraud and Credit Risk teams to translate risk strategies and operational needs into scalable digital and data solutions.
  • Support the evolution of risk decisioning capabilities, data pipelines, and analytical tooling used to monitor and optimize risk performance.
  • Collaborate on initiatives involving risk rules, decision engines, customer verification flows, and risk monitoring frameworks.

Customer & Operational Experience

  • Own the end-to-end experience across risk-related customer journeys, balancing fraud prevention, credit risk controls, and seamless digital experiences.
  • Identify and reduce customer friction while maintaining strong risk and compliance standards.

Product Discovery & Analytics

  • Use data and experimentation to validate hypotheses, optimize outcomes, and prioritize enhancements.
  • Define success metrics and monitor platform performance, risk KPIs, and operational impact.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Engineering, Data Engineering, Analytics, Compliance, Operations, and Risk stakeholders to define requirements and align on roadmap priorities.
  • Facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical teams to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions.

Agile Delivery

  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies including refinement, sprint planning, estimation, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and successful delivery.

MVP & Continuous Optimization

  • Define and deliver MVPs that balance business value, risk controls, technical feasibility, and customer experience.
  • Continuously optimize products and processes through analytics, experimentation, and stakeholder feedback.

Compliance & Governance

  • Work with Compliance, Risk, and Governance teams to ensure solutions align with regulatory, privacy, and internal policy requirements.
  • Support auditability, reporting, and governance needs for risk-related capabilities.

What You Bring:

  • University degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in digital product management, preferably within financial services, fintech, banking, or other regulated industries.
  • Experience working with risk, fraud, credit decisioning, analytics, or other data-intensive domains is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of agile/scrum delivery methodologies and product management practices.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical teams including Data Engineering, Analytics, and Software Engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
  • Experience working with analytics and experimentation tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, SQL, Tableau/Power BI, A/B testing platforms, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with data platforms, APIs, decision engines, or risk systems is considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across technical and business teams.
  • Experience using agile collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Miro.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Data engineering, data product, or analytics platform experience is welcomed.
