As part of the evolution of our Digital organisation, we are strengthening strategy implementation by clarifying structures and leadership to bring more focus, improve prioritisation, and support the business more closely. The new setup strengthens product management and software development practices and provides a clearer foundation for data and AIdriven development, while enabling clearer roles and new opportunities for professional growth.

The Digital Engagement team is responsible for Finnair’s digital customer engagement and loyalty experience, as well as the Finnair App as a key digital customer touchpoint. Working closely with business and technology teams, the team translates customer and business needs into clear priorities and roadmaps, delivering measurable customer and business value through the continuous development of Finnair’s digital channels and loyalty ecosystem.

We are now looking for a

DIGITAL PRODUCT LEAD, ENGAGEMENT FOUNDATIONS

who will be responsible for defining and driving the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Digital Engagement Foundations. This area owns the capabilities that enable secure, scalable, and data-driven customer engagement across Finnair's digital ecosystem, including identity and authentication, Finnair Plus profile and member data services, loyalty fraud prevention, account security, engagement orchestration, and partner integrations. You will act as the voice of the customer and business, ensuring that development efforts are aligned with strategic goals and deliver measurable value. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to discover opportunities, define priorities, and lead product development from concept to delivery.

Please note, the scope of this role does not include ownership of customer-facing UX, digital journeys, or the experience layer, which are managed by dedicated product team.

This role is based at Finnair HQ near Helsinki-Vantaa Airport and we work in a hybrid model with regular on-site presence at our HQ.

In this role, you will:

  • Define and communicate a clear vision for your product area or channel, aligning stakeholders around shared goals.

  • Discover, define, and analyze new opportunities in collaboration with tribe leads and stakeholders.

  • Create and maintain roadmap that supports Finnair’s digital and business objectives.

  • Represent the voice of the customer and business in development discussions.

  • Ensure that product development meets defined goals and delivers value to users and the organization.

  • Define and track OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) for your area.

  • Analyze product and channel performance and continuously loop insights back into product planning and prioritization.

  • Work closely with vendors to influence their roadmaps and identify new opportunities for collaboration.

  • Involve relevant stakeholders in product discovery, prioritization, and decision-making processes.

  • Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility.

  • Define clear and actionable requirements for product features and enhancements.

  • Ensure product discovery is conducted effectively and collaboratively.

  • Actively contribute to improving product management practices, prioritization processes, and ways of working across the unit.

From you, we wish:

We are looking for a product professional who combines strong strategic thinking, customer focus, business understanding, and technical curiosity. In addition, we hope you bring:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, IT, or related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in digital product management or leadership roles in highly complex business environments.

  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities, experience working with product metrics, performance data, and OKRs.

  • Experience working with agile development teams and external vendors.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to balance long-term strategic direction with short-term delivery needs.

  • Fluent written and spoken English.
