As a Digital Print Production Operator, you will be responsible for job setup and printing using digital printers. You will be in charge of calibrating printers and color-matching projects against our client's Pantone colors / previous jobs. Your duties also involve bindery which may include cutting, folding and stuffing envelopes. You will manage the service and maintenance of the machines as needed. This includes printing on both Large format and Small format. Large format consists of posters, vehicle wraps, wall murals, etc. and Small format has books, business cards and product brochures.

Digital Print Production Operator Responsibilities:
- Responsible for operating digital commercial printers using Fiery & Onyx Command Workstation.
- Responsible for imposing / nesting files for print
- Works with Center Manager and other Production members to prioritize and manage daily job production
- Produces orders accurately, efficiently, and quickly while maintaining the highest quality standards
- Updates job status and location in MIS system
- Always runs a proof copy and compares it to the work order
- Controls waste and redos by quality-checking jobs as they are being produced
- Completes Quality Assurance documents for all printed jobs
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment
- Performs all required maintenance and learns extended maintenance from the technician.
- Calibrates and manages all color devices as required to maintain color consistency.
- Monitors color consistency during all print runs and make adjustments as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned
Digital Print Production Operator Qualifications
- Digital printing experience preferred
- Ability to organize several activities and tasks concurrently.
- Can perform basic bindery functions
- Graphic design skills are a plus but not necessary
- Customer service experience is a plus but not necessary
