We bring the energy!

Through purpose and people - not just through the infrastructure we operate, but through the way we show up for each other, our customers’ and our communities. The future of energy is in our hands. Let’s shape it together.

Looking for growth? We’ve got just the challenges to get stuck into

We’re looking for a Digital PMO Analyst to join our growing Digital PMO team. This is not your typical analyst role—it's a development-focused opportunity designed to give you exposure to portfolio-level decision-making, investment planning, and modern PMO practices.

Why this role stands out

  • Work across a multi-year digital transformation portfolio
  • Gain exposure to executive-level governance and decision-making
  • Build capability in financial planning, integrated delivery, and portfolio reporting
  • Be part of a team actively evolving PMO practices through automation, AI, and continuous improvement
  • Clear pathway into broader PMO, delivery or portfolio roles

What you’ll be doing

You’ll play a key role in supporting the performance and governance of our digital portfolio, including:

  • Supporting portfolio financial tracking, forecasting, and reporting
  • Assisting with integrated planning, prioritisation, and dependency management
  • Preparing insights and reporting for SteerCo and senior leadership
  • Maintaining high-quality data to support delivery oversight and assurance
  • Supporting governance processes, including stage gates, RAID, and artefact management
  • Translating data into clear, actionable insights for decision-making
  • Identifying risks, trends, and interdependencies across the portfolio
  • Driving continuous improvement, including automation and smarter PMO practices
  • Acting as a trusted support partner to project and delivery teams

About you

This role is ideal for someone early in their PMO or delivery career who is keen to accelerate their development.

You’ll bring:

  • Exposure to project, PMO or portfolio environments (preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data into insights
  • Experience or interest in financial tracking or reporting
  • A curious, learning mindset with a passion for improving how things are done
  • Confidence working in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • An interest in automation, AI, and modern ways of working

The AusNet experience is all about…

  • Growing your impact We’ll support you to build your career through real opportunities and strong connections.
  • When life happens, knowing we’ve got your back Whether it's life's big moments or the unexpected little ones, we get it - sometimes you just need to be there.
  • Being part of a team that cares deeply about each other: We share in the good times. We support in the tough times. And we’re humble through and through.

We’re committed to building an inclusive culture and a diverse workforce. We believe different perspectives are essential to our success, and we encourage all applicants to apply. If you need any adjustments during the recruitment process, we're happy to discuss how we can support you.
