About the role
We are seeking a highly driven Digital Planning Lead with applications experience to join our Digital Solutions Delivery team. In this pivotal role, you will establish and lead cross-portfolio planning, governance, and delivery visibility across multiple Lines of Business (LOBs).
You will play a key role in aligning strategy to execution through multi-horizon planning, capacity management, and dependency coordination, ensuring a consistent and predictable delivery rhythm across the organisation.
This is an opportunity to influence senior decision-making, optimise delivery outcomes, and drive transparency across complex digital portfolios.
What you'll be doing
Portfolio & Delivery Planning
Lead multi-horizon planning cycles (annual, quarterly, and rolling 90-day plans)
Maintain an integrated portfolio plan covering pipelines, backlogs, dependencies, and deliverables
Align planning inputs across product, engineering, operations, and service teams
Capacity & Demand Management
Develop and manage capacity versus demand views across delivery teams
Identify constraints, capability gaps, and sequencing risks
Support prioritisation, resource allocation, and delivery trade-offs
Governance & Delivery Rhythm
Establish and manage a consistent planning and delivery cadence
Provide portfolio-level reporting on delivery health, risks, dependencies, and timelines
Ensure transparency across delivery commitments for stakeholders and customer portfolios
Stakeholder & LOB Engagement
Act as the central liaison between Digital Solutions Delivery and LOBs
Support forward planning by maintaining visibility of feature releases and backlog pipelines
Collaborate with third-party providers and navigate external delivery dependencies
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in applications portfolio planning, PMO leadership, or digital delivery management
Strong understanding of capacity planning, demand management, and dependency mapping
Experience working across complex, multi-LOB environments
Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and leadership teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on delivery outcomes
Experience establishing governance frameworks and delivery cadences
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Note- Australian Citizenship is required, with a preference for candidates holding a Baseline Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain one, due to customer requirements
