
This is a casual/per diem, non-benefited position with day shift, generally 6:30am-10:30am, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, on the campus of Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.

In our collaborative environment, Digital Pathology Assistants play a key role in supporting the pathology team by ensuring accurate and efficient handling of digital slide images and related data. You’ll work closely with laboratory staff and pathologists, gaining exposure to a wide range of cases in a high-volume setting.
The Pathology Lab Assistant is responsible for the following:
· Scanning slides in our digital pathology section of the Histology lab
· Knowledge of protocols for special handling of surgical specimens
· Maintaining work areas in a clean and orderly fashion.
