A cross-functional lead driving development of online eye measurement solutions (self-refraction and centration) to enable direct-to-consumer sales of vision correction for extended reality devices. This role combines optometryexpertise, technical product development, and business acumen to launch robust,accurate, scalable online vision measurement services.

Your profile
Practical optometry/clinical vision science experience, in-store optical retail experience
Experience in digital product management and development
Project management and cross-functional leadership capabilities
Data driven decision-making with a focus on user experience and innovation
Knowledge of regulatory and data privacy frameworks in vision care
Optometry / clinical vision science:Deep understanding of eye anatomy, refraction, centrationprincipalsand clinical standards as well as practical experience as optometrist or optician.
Technical product development:Experience collaborating with software engineers and hardware designers to translate clinical requirements into digital solutions. Ability to assess measurement techniques and their limitations.
Business & Strategic Acumen:Capacity to evaluate commercial viability, align product specifications with D2C market demands.
Project Management:Skilled in leading cross-functional projects, including managing timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communication.
Regulatory/Quality Awareness:Ability to understand optical device safety, privacy, data protectionrequirementsand regulatory standards.
Communication:Effectively communicate clinical and technical concepts across diverse teams and stakeholders
Consumer Experience Focus:Understanding best practices for online customer education, self-testing UI/UX, and post-purchase support
Innovation Mindset:Proactivity inidentifyingnew measurement methodologies and scouting global trends in remote ophthalmology.
Data Analytics:Know-how in analyzing and interpreting measurement accuracy, system performance, and user data to improve online testing algorithms
