Job Description

Digital Operations Manager (Mid, DACH region)

Aarhus or Hamburg | Full-time | Hybrid (3+ days a week in the office)

About AutoUncle

Buying a used car is one of the biggest purchases most people make, and one of the hardest to get right. Is the price fair? What will it really cost? AutoUncle was founded to answer those questions. Today, car buyers across Europe use our websites and apps to compare almost every used car for sale and see whether the price is right, for free.

The car dealerships that sell to those buyers are our customers. Over 700 of them use AutoUncle to sell more cars. We send them buyers who are ready to act, and we put tools on their websites that turn visitors into leads.

Now we're going a step further. CoDriver, our newest product, is an AI assistant that answers every lead a dealer gets, on every channel, day or night, and keeps the conversation going until the buyer is ready. We're no longer just sending buyers to dealers; we're helping them close the sale.

Why we’re hiring

AutoUncle is growing fast. More dealers are signing up, and more of them are choosing CoDriver, which connects directly to their CRM, lead providers and website. Every new customer means a new setup to get right and keep running.

The Digital Operations Team

That's where our Digital Operations Team comes in. Sales wins the customer; Digital Operations makes our products work for them. The team gets new dealers live, keeps their integrations healthy and fixes issues quickly when something breaks. A dealer only sees value once leads are flowing, so this team has a direct hand in whether customers stay and grow with us.

The team works across Denmark, Germany and Italy, and we're looking to add someone in the near future to our DACH team to support our growth in the region.

Your mission

Own the technical setup for a portfolio of 60–80 DACH customers, from first call to go-live and beyond. Make sure every product we deliver is properly integrated, measurable from day one, and keeps working.

Day to day, you’ll:

  • Lead technical onboardings. Connect our products with dealer websites, CRM systems and inventory feeds, and coordinate more complex or tailored integrations.
  • Join customer meetings alongside Sales, answer technical questions in German and set clear expectations on feasibility and go-live timelines.
  • Pick up the phone to unblock setups. Reach out to web agencies, CRM providers and dealer IT contacts to solve problems quickly.
  • Diagnose tracking and data issues. Investigate GA4, Google Tag Manager, consent mode and event tracking when numbers don’t add up, and find out why, not just what.
  • Customize and improve. Adjust widgets with custom CSS and improve our standard integrations to give customers’ website visitors a better experience.
  • Keep your portfolio healthy with regular health checks, inventory quality checks and proactive monitoring.
  • Build repeatable systems. Turn recurring problems into standard workflows, documentation, and AI workflows and automations the whole team uses, and work with product and tech colleagues to drive improvements.

What you bring

  • Native or near-native German, and fluent English (our company language)
  • 2+ years of experience in technical integrations, implementation, digital operations or a similar role, ideally in B2B SaaS
  • Hands-on experience with web analytics and tracking (GA4, Google Tag Manager or similar). You understand events, conversions and consent mode well enough to troubleshoot them
  • A basic understanding of APIs and how systems exchange data
  • HTML/CSS skills for adjusting and troubleshooting website integrations
  • Confidence picking up the phone and working with both technical (developers, CRM providers) and non-technical (dealers, sales teams) contacts
  • A structured way of working: you run several setups at once, prioritize your own pipeline and follow through without being chased
  • You already use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT or similar) to get real work done, and you can tell us about something you automated or made faster.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the automotive industry or at a web agency
  • Experience with HubSpot or dealer CRM systems

What we offer

  • €49,000–67,800 gross annual (final salary depending on location and experience)
  • Extended social benefits; including 30 holiday days + local holidays, extended parental leave, etc. See more in our Employee Handbook!
  • Structured training in your first three months, alongside experienced teammates, on our products (Traffic Performance, Website Booster and CoDriver),and how dealerships work
  • A clear path to Senior Digital Operations Manager, by owning a specialist area such as data quality, website tracking or partner integrations
  • A growth review every six months and support from your manager to plan your next step
  • Impact you can see: when a dealer goes live and the leads start coming in, you made that happen

How we work

We're AI-native, and you'll help shape how we use AI in customer operations.

AutoUncle moves fast, and priorities can change from week to week. If you haven't worked somewhere like this before, that's fine. If the idea sounds exciting rather than stressful, you'll fit right in.

We hire for four traits we call "the Ticket": being ambitious, humble and coachable, with a bias for action. We also live by the Five Cs: Clear, Courage, Curiosity, Commitment and Compassion. Our Employee Handbook gives a good feel for how we work.

The process

  1. Intro call with our Talent Acquisition team
  2. Interview with the hiring managers, conducted in English. Then a short conversation in German with a team member
  3. A short personality test (online, in your own time), followed by a case interview where you’ll also meet the team
  4. Reference checks

About AutoUncle

At AutoUncle, we have two important visions. One, our business vision, is about the impact we want to have on the world. The other, our company vision, is about the kind of workplace we want to be. Only by staying connected through these two complementary visions can we grow as a business and thrive as humans.

---

Business vision: Become the most trusted car valuation brand in Europe.

Most people know us for our search engine, used by millions, to promote transparency in the used car market in Europe. Over time we have also used that underlying technology to build products that give price and market insights in lots of other contexts.

We want to make sure our platform is available wherever people need us, whether that is on our consumer search engine, in the hands of automotive professionals, via external marketplaces, or on dealer and OEM websites.

Company vision: The Most Human Company

A great company culture depends on many factors. Having a compelling product. Building a strong community. Operating with trust and fairness. But before you can reach any of those goals, you need to relentlessly focus on people.

AutoUncle is a place where people, each with individual and diverse abilities, ambitions, and emotions, come together to work, learn, and grow. We acknowledge and appreciate that everyone has feelings and opinions, and we bring them to work with us every day. Our emotions can work for us or against us, but if we suppress them, we often end up blocking our own growth instead.

Humans are not machines. Input does not always equal output. That’s why we focus on outcomes, the results of hard work and creative energy, and not the time spent creating them. We know that success is a marathon, and we trust our teammates to know how to best use their time to reach our shared goals.
