Job Description

blackcrows is an independent ski brand born in Chamonix, built on an uncompromising commitment to performance, identity, and style. We design skis, outerwear, and accessories that merge beauty with efficiency — objects shaped by ski culture and driven by a spirit of freedom and adventure.

Our digital presence is central to how we connect with skiers worldwide. With a recently migrated Shopify platform and a growing global e-commerce business, we are building out the team and capabilities to match our ambition. This role sits at the heart of that effort, within a Digital/E-commerce team now fully co-located in Paris.

As Digital Merchandising Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day presentation, performance, and accuracy of the blackcrows online store. Working closely with the Head of E-Commerce, the CRM & Retention Marketing Coordinator, and the broader marketing and product teams, you will ensure that our Shopify storefront is always on-brand, commercially optimised, and easy to shop.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role that requires both creative sensibility and analytical rigour. You will own the product catalogue, manage the content calendar, optimise merchandising logic, and translate data into continuous improvements to the customer experience.

Key responsibilities

1. Site Merchandising & Product Management

  • Own the end-to-end management of the product catalogue on Shopify: product creation, descriptions, imagery, attributes, pricing, and taxonomy

  • Ensure all product information is accurate, up to date, and consistent across markets and languages

  • Optimise product placement across PLPs, homepage, and collection pages based on inventory levels, seasonal relevance, and performance data

  • Manage and maintain site search logic: monitor top search terms and tune results to match customer intent

  • Configure and maintain cross-sell and upsell recommendations to drive average order value.

2. Content & Campaign Execution

  • Own and manage the e-commerce content calendar, coordinating inputs from marketing, product, and creative teams to ensure timely execution

  • Execute all content updates on the Shopify storefront: homepage, landing pages, banners, PDPs, and collection pages

  • Ensure campaign launches (new product drops, seasonal sell-in, promotions) are executed flawlessly and on schedule

  • Brief and review creative assets in collaboration with the brand team; flag gaps or quality issues early

  • Liaise with channel leads to ensure campaign landing pages deliver the right experience for each traffic source.

3. Performance Reporting & Analytics

  • Produce regular performance reports covering key e-commerce KPIs: conversion rate, bounce/exit rate, cart abandonment, revenue by category, and top/bottom performers

  • Monitor and interpret sell-through trends; translate insights into concrete merchandising and content recommendations

  • Contribute to sell-in forecasting and demand planning, working closely with operations and wholesale teams to align inventory positioning online

  • Support A/B testing initiatives: help design tests, monitor results, and document learnings

  • Monitor the competitive landscape and bring forward observations on emerging best practices in online ski and outdoor retail.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with the Head of E-Commerce and tech/agency partners on platform improvements, QA of new features, and bug resolution

  • Collaborate with the CRM & Retention Coordinator on email and automation flows that rely on up-to-date product and collection data

  • Support localisation efforts: coordinate translations and market-specific content adaptations across the regions we serve

This list is not exhaustive and may be added to and/or revised during your assignment, depending on our discussions and your interests.

Profile & qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in e-commerce merchandising, digital marketing, or a related role — agency or brand side

  • Hands-on experience with Shopify; familiarity with Shopify's product management, theme editor, and analytics tools is a strong advantage

  • Comfortable working with data: you can navigate Google Analytics, build and maintain a basic performance dashboard, and explain what the numbers mean

  • Solid understanding of the e-commerce customer journey — from acquisition through to conversion and retention

  • Strong attention to detail: you notice when an image is misaligned, a translation is off, or a product is mis-categorised

  • Organised and reliable: you manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without letting things fall through the cracks

  • Proficiency in standard productivity tools (Microsoft Office); experience with project management tools (Asana, or similar) is a plus

  • Fluent in English; French is a strong advantage given the Paris base and HQ context.

Who You Are

  • Curious and proactive: you don't wait to be told there's a problem — you spot it first and come with a proposed fix

  • Rigorous: you care about accuracy and consistency, and you hold yourself to a high standard of execution

  • Collaborative: you work well across teams and time zones, and you communicate clearly and reliably

  • Commercially minded: you think about the customer and the conversion, not just the aesthetics.

  • A genuine skier or outdoor enthusiast: you understand the culture and the product you are helping to sell

Location : Paris 1er

Contract : Permanent, full-time

Start Date : 1st September, 2026

What we offer

  • The rare opportunity to be part of a small, passionate team shaping how a globally respected ski brand expresses itself — on snow, in culture, and through the people who embody our spirit.

  • Strong core values that make up our DNA as a company: fairness and caring, team spirit, positive attitude, open-mindedness, ski/outdoor culture

blackcrows is committed to providing a working environment that promotes diversity, inclusion and equal employment opportunity regardless of race, colour, gender, age, creed, religion, national or ethnic origin, disability (physical or mental), marital status, citizenship, ancestry, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, or any other legally protected status.
