
Pernod Ricard Portugal is hiring a Media & Digital Marketing Manager (Southern Europe) for the Marketing department, located in Lisbon.
The Digital & Media Marketing Manager Southern Europe is responsible for designing, activating and optimizing integrated digital and media strategies across assigned Southern European markets, in close collaboration with CX & Consumer Data, Creative and the local markets team. This person will have the Mission to maximize the impact and return of Marketing spend across all digital and media touchpoints of the Consumer Journey, ensuring: Right spend, right touchpoint, right audience, right threshold, right consumer shift.
Responsibilities
Strategic & Integrated Comms Leadership
• Translate Consumer Journey & Marketing Performance strategy into actionable digital and media plans for assigned markets (Portugal and Greece).
• Co-define integrated digital, media, social, influence and performance strategies in close collaboration with CX & Consumer Data and Creative and local markets
• Ensure consistency with global frameworks, CDMOs and Marketing Archetypes, while adapting to local market realities.
Media Strategy & Investment
• Own digital and media A&P recommendations during brand planning cycles and rolling forecasts, as well as Media Strategy (media mix, seasonality, media trends…).
• Ensure media plans deliver against brand and business objectives, optimizing investment allocation to maximize ROI.
• Define and track media and digital KPIs, ensuring performance is measured consistently across markets.
• Lead media agency governance, and co-lead on briefings, delivery, tracking, optimization and performance reviews.
• Media partner relationship.
Performance
• Ensure compliance with measurement frameworks and data governance principles, in coordination with CX & Consumer Data
• Get the best from our media partner to deliver outstanding efficiencies and effectiveness.
Ways of Working & Stakeholder Management
• Establish clear ways of working and ownership models with Market Director, Brand Management and Trade Marketing teams.
• Act as a trusted partner and advisor to local brand teams, ensuring clarity, consistency and speed. Share learnings and best practices across Southern Europe markets.
Profile
Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in digital and media marketing management, preferably within FMCG or related industries.
Strong strategic and analytical thinking with a data-driven mindset
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to connect diverse teams
Ability to adapt global frameworks to local market needs with authenticity
Proactive problem-solving and passion for innovation and growth
Strong stakeholder management
Proficiency in Portuguese (mandatory), English (mandatory) and Spanish (preference)
