
ROLE PURPOSE:
The Digital Media Coordinator (DMC) is primarily responsible for strengthening the public profile of Save the Children Philippines (SCP) across digital platforms to reach, influence, and engage target audiences to support the organization and its causes for and with children.
To achieve this, the DMC’s set of responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1) Developing and implementing digital media plans and strategies, 2) manage SCP’s website and social media accounts, 3) create and/or lead the development of quality and engaging content, 4) monitor, analyze, and report performance matrix e.g. share of voice, brand reputation, social media advertising, search engine optimization (SEO), etc., 5) foster responsible and on brand digital conversations and interactions, 6) manage related resources and budget deliverables, and 7) other tasks as deemed required by the Management.
This role involves significant cross-departmental collaborations at the local, regional, and international levels, as well as with concerned partners and stakeholders, including children, as applicable. The position holder may also be deployed to fieldwork, impact areas, emergency response (first phase of rapid-onset or slow-onset disasters), and potential international assignments, as necessary.
