Digital Marketing Specialist

The role:

As Digital Marketing Specialist you own the digital campaigns for a set of dedicated Ardena service offerings, from first idea to qualified lead. You work closely with our subject matter experts (SMEs) – chemists, formulation scientists, analysts and regulatory specialists – to capture what makes our services different, and you turn that knowledge into content and campaigns across LinkedIn, our website, paid media, webinars, video and events.

This is a corporate role in the Marketing & Communications team, reporting to the Global Head of Marketing & Communications. You work across all Ardena sites and alongside the website team, the commercial team and external partners such as our video editor. Your main measure of success is the number of marketing qualified leads (MQLs) your campaigns generate.

What you will do:

Campaign ownership:

• Plan, run and optimize end-to-end digital campaigns for your dedicated Ardena service offerings.
• Run paid digital advertising campaigns (e.g. LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads), managing targeting, budget and performance.
• Track campaign results and report on MQLs, conversion and engagement; use the data to improve every next campaign.
• Work with the commercial team on lead hand-over and follow-up in our CRM.

Content with our experts:

• Interview Ardena SMEs and translate complex scientific and technical topics into clear, credible content.
• Create content for LinkedIn, the Ardena website, articles, case studies and press releases about service updates.
• Organize and promote webinars together with SMEs, from topic and speaker preparation to follow-up.
• Engage with relevant scientific and industry communities, including Reddit.
• Work with our video editor to produce YouTube and social video content.

Website and SEO:

• Work with the website team on SEO set-up and continuous optimization.
• Create and maintain service pages that are informative, findable and built to convert.

Sales and event support:

• Create materials to promote Ardena services at conferences and events.
• Build PowerPoint presentations that present our services to clients and prospects.
• Support the team at selected events when needed.

What we are looking for:

• A degree in marketing, communications, life sciences, pharmaceutical sciences or chemistry, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in B2B digital marketing, ideally in a CDMO, CRO, pharmaceutical or life sciences company – or a background in pharmaceutical chemistry with a strong interest in marketing.
• Proven experience running digital campaigns, including paid social and search advertising, with a focus on lead generation.
• Strong writing skills: able to turn scientific input into clear content for LinkedIn, web, articles and case studies.
• Working knowledge of SEO, website content management and marketing analytics.
• Confidence in interviewing experts and working with stakeholders across sites and functions.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel for events and site visits.

• Experience with video content and YouTube channel management.
• Familiarity with community marketing on platforms such as Reddit.
• Knowledge of drug substance, drug product or bioanalytical services.
• Additional European languages.
