Job Description

The Marketing & Communications function develops and executes unified marketing, communications, and design strategies that strengthen AD’s brand and support engagement with independent distributor members, manufacturer supplier partners, associates, and other key stakeholders. Through these efforts, the team helps advance AD’s shared mission to help members grow and prosper.

The Digital Marketing Specialist supports the execution and improvement of AD’s marketing technology, analytics, and digital platforms. This role focuses on managing tools, supporting key initiatives, and providing insights that help the team better understand performance and make informed decisions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and optimize marketing technology tools, including email marketing platforms, social media tools, and other digital systems.
  2. Support CRM enablement for marketing initiatives.
  3. Manage our email marketing platform and support initiatives to enhance our email marketing efforts including automated campaigns, subscription preference centers, and more.
  4. Manage and support survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics) and evaluate opportunities to expand use of survey tools across additional AD initiatives.
  5. Support the NPS survey execution and data reporting.
  6. Develop and maintain analytics reporting dashboards to measure performance across digital channels (social media, website, advertising, etc.).
  7. Support digital advertising initiatives, including channel selection and performance tracking.
  8. Manage our public website platform including building new pages, landing pages, analytics tracking, and more.
  9. Support additional digital marketing initiatives and projects as needed.

Requirements

  1. Experience working with digital marketing tools and platforms, including email marketing systems, social media platforms, and analytics tools.
  2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  3. Working knowledge of CRM systems and data management practices.
  4. Familiarity with website content management systems (CMS) and digital user experience principles. Understanding of digital marketing concepts, including email marketing, SEO, and digital advertising.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  7. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  8. Ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly.
  9. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.

Qualifications:

  1. 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, marketing technology, or a related field.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
  3. Internship or prior experience supporting marketing or administrative functions is a plus.

Additional Comments:

  1. Travel: Up to 5% annually
  2. Business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. although work outside these hours may be required.
  3. The position is based out of our corporate office in Wayne, PA, where we have a hybrid work schedule (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays in office with Mondays and Fridays remote)
