Founders Village is a community-driven platform that connects early-stage founders and investors through curated events, including our flagship Tech Weekend series. We bring together the most ambitious minds in tech, AI, and frontier innovation to learn, connect, and grow.

Tasks

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager who can help amplify Founders Village’s voice across digital channels — driving awareness, engagement, and growth.

• Manage and grow Founders Village’s social presence across LinkedIn, Twitter (X), and Instagram — with a distinct voice that reflects our community of builders and investors.
• Plan, draft, and schedule social media content around upcoming events, community highlights, founder stories, and funding opportunities.
• Publish long-form content on Substack and Medium — including newsletters, event recaps, and editorial features.
• Build engagement on Reddit and other startup/VC communities to increase visibility and drive conversations around Founders Village and Tech Weekend.
• Track performance across channels, optimize content strategies, and share simple monthly reports.
• Work closely with the founder (Yasmeen) to maintain consistency of tone, timing, and brand narrative.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or community growth — ideally in the startup or tech ecosystem.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills; ability to turn event insights, founder interviews, and updates into engaging posts.
• Familiarity with platforms like Substack, LinkedIn Analytics, and Meta Business Suite.
• A proactive mindset — someone who spots opportunities to promote Founders Village organically across online channels.
• Interest in startups, venture capital, and emerging tech is a big plus.
