What is the job?
As Digital Marketing Manager/Director, you will support the development and implementation of innovative digital strategies to strengthen the hotel’s online presence, engagement, and e-commerce performance. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue teams, you will help bring the hotel's unique story and its neighbourhood to life across digital platforms while driving guest engagement, brand visibility, and direct business. With a strong understanding of the latest digital trends, technologies, and social media opportunities, you will play a key role in positioning the hotel in an ever-evolving digital landscape.
Your day-to-day
People
Work closely with the marketing, sales, and PR teams to ensure digital strategies align with broader hotel objectives.
Collaborate with other departments like operations, F&B, and guest services to align promotions and campaigns with on-property experiences.
Plan and execute all digital marketing activities, including but not limited to search optimization, emailing, social media, display, Metasearch, and influencers
Monitor and assist in ensuring Rate parity together with the Revenue Team throughout all distribution channels
Maintain relationships and collaborate with OTAs, digital agencies, and other vendor partners
Supervise digital marketing training to share best practices, trends, and platform management (SEO, SEM, social media)
Financial
Manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across direct and indirect channels, and make recommendations to ensure the achievement of business goals
Monitor the KPI of digital marketing activities to optimize spending and increase revenue
Develop strategies to drive direct bookings through the hotel’s website and avoid OTA commissions, ultimately contributing to the hotel’s revenue goals
Responsible Business
Ensure the hotel’s responsible business efforts, such as eco-friendly practices or community involvement, are effectively communicated in digital channels.
Adhere to ethical and responsible marketing standards, such as data privacy, especially concerning guest information.
Support the hotel’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives through targeted digital campaigns, demonstrating the brand’s commitment to giving back to the community
Accountabilities
Ensure the hotel’s website is up-to-date, mobile-friendly, and SEO-optimized
Develop and execute digital campaigns around key periods that target the right market
Regularly analyse and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) like traffic, conversion rates, and engagement metrics
What we need from you
Proven experience in implementing successful digital and social media campaigns
Experience in Digital Marketing in Hospitality
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, digital, or marketing and communications
Excellent English, both verbal and written
Strong understanding of current digital marketing concepts, strategy, and best practices
Excellent Presentation and customer relationship skills
Energetic and passionate to work
Self-starter who has a flexible approach and thrives in fast-paced environments with the ability to adapt to agile business needs
