Job Description

Shape how NN Korea builds trusted Digital engagement in one of healthcare's fastest-evolving markets.

Your new role

As Digital Marketing Manager, you will build and lead NN Korea's first dedicated Digital marketing capability for obesity. Korea's obesity market is becoming increasingly Digital-driven: people living with obesity are researching treatment options online, forming expectations before visiting a clinic, comparing information sources, and looking for clear answers around eligibility, safety, cost, authenticity, side effects and long-term care.

Your role is to define how NN Korea engages patients responsibly and effectively across the obesity care journey - from awareness and education through clinic preparation, treatment initiation support and long-term engagement. You will create the Digital strategy, operating model, channel ecosystem and performance framework needed to help more people living with obesity seek appropriate medical care.

This role requires a leader who can balance bold Digital thinking with strong healthcare discipline: building modern digital and social engagement while ensuring all activity is medically sound, compliant and aligned with NN Korea's broader obesity strategy.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining the end-to-end Digital marketing strategy for NN Korea's obesity business, including priority audiences, behavioural barriers, channel roles, messaging principles, journey mapping and success metrics.
  • Building the pre-clinic engagement model, helping people living with obesity understand obesity as a chronic disease and feel prepared to speak with healthcare professionals.
  • Strengthening NN Korea's presence in the places where patients seek health information, including search, Naver, YouTube, social platforms, online communities, healthcare platforms and owned digital channels.
  • Creating a trusted content ecosystem across paid, owned, earned and partner channels, covering disease awareness, doctor discussion preparation, myths and misconceptions, safety education, counterfeit and scam awareness, lifestyle support and long-term care.
  • Partnering with patient support, digital health and customer engagement teams to connect Digital education with support services after treatment initiation.
  • Leading Digital readiness for current and future obesity portfolio priorities in collaboration with Brand, Medical, Corporate Affairs, Regulatory, Legal/Compliance, Market Access, MCE and Sales.
  • Monitoring the external environment, including competitor narratives, social media trends, misinformation, safety concerns and evolving Digital expectations, and translating insights into action.
  • Establishing ways of working for Digital marketing in NN Korea, including governance, approval flow, claims management, agency model, content operations, measurement and escalation processes; Creating feedback loops so Digital insights inform brand strategy, medical education, HCP engagement and patient support.
  • Leading and developing the Digital Marketing Manager/Specialist, managing budget, agencies, vendors and external partners; Building a measurement framework covering awareness, engagement, sentiment, search performance, content effectiveness, channel efficiency and Digital journey indicators.

Your new department

You will join NN Korea's Cardiometabolic Marketing organisation at a pivotal moment for the obesity business. The market is becoming more digitally influenced, Digital-led and competitive, requiring a stronger connection between brand strategy, Digital education, medical credibility, patient support and multichannel engagement.

The Digital Marketing function will help NN Korea build trusted relationships with people living with obesity before they enter the clinic and support them with clear, responsible and useful information throughout the care journey. You will work closely with Obesity Brand, Medical, Corporate Affairs/Market Access, MCE, patient support teams, Legal/Compliance, Sales and external partners.

Qualifications

  • Related Bachelor or Master's degree in business, marketing, life sciences, public health or a related field are preferred.
  • 10+ years of marketing experience, including strong patients, digital, brand-building or omnichannel experience. Especially candidates from Consumer healthcare industry are highly preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, pharma, Digital health, FMCG, beauty, e-commerce, digital platforms or another highly regulated and competitive Digital category.
  • Deep understanding of Korean Patients behaviors, especially Naver, Kakao, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, online communities, search behaviour and mobile-first engagement.
  • Proven ability to build integrated paid, owned, earned and partner-channel strategies.
  • Strong experience turning patient insight into segmentation, messaging, campaigns and measurable behaviour change and experience leading agencies, budgets and cross-functional teams will be critical.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across Medical, Legal, Compliance, Corporate Affairs, Market Access, Sales and regional/global teams. High strategic judgement, strong learning agility and comfort operating in ambiguity will be needed.
  • Fluency in Korean and English.
