This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Digital Marketing & E-Com Growth - B2B Optimisation Inbound Lead Gen Sales based in Australia.
This is a hands-on growth leadership role focused on accelerating e-commerce revenue and B2B customer acquisition across the Australian market.
You will own the full digital growth engine, from organic and paid acquisition through conversion, retention, and revenue optimisation.
The role combines advanced SEO, AEO, GEO, AI search visibility, paid media, content, CRM automation, and e-commerce optimisation.
You will build scalable inbound funnels that turn website traffic into qualified business enquiries, corporate accounts, wholesale customers, and online sales.
Working across multiple customer segments, you will use data, experimentation, and commercial insight to improve acquisition efficiency and customer lifetime value.
You will have broad ownership of digital performance, with responsibility for analytics, reporting, campaign optimisation, and measurable growth outcomes.

Accountabilities
- Own and execute the complete digital marketing and e-commerce growth strategy across Australia, with direct accountability for online revenue, qualified B2B leads, customer acquisition, and long-term digital growth.
- Develop strategies to increase online sales, website conversion rates, Average Order Value, Customer Lifetime Value, repeat purchases, and overall customer retention while reducing acquisition costs and cart abandonment.
- Optimise product merchandising, category performance, promotional campaigns, customer journeys, and website experiences to maximise commercial performance.
- Build and manage B2B inbound lead-generation programs targeting corporate businesses, SMEs, government, education, healthcare, construction, professional services, hospitality, warehouses, manufacturing, retail, and other multi-site organisations.
- Develop high-converting landing pages, lead magnets, industry-specific campaigns, quote-request journeys, corporate account funnels, wholesale acquisition programs, and lead-nurturing sequences.
- Own SEO, Answer Engine Optimisation, Generative Engine Optimisation, and AI search visibility across Google and emerging AI platforms, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
- Lead technical, on-page, category, product, local, and enterprise SEO initiatives, including keyword research, competitor analysis, internal linking, schema, content clusters, link building, featured snippets, and knowledge graph optimisation.
- Develop content strategies covering buying guides, product comparisons, industry content, procurement resources, workplace solutions, landing pages, case studies, FAQs, video, and AI-ready content.
- Manage paid acquisition across Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, Meta, LinkedIn, Microsoft, YouTube, and remarketing channels.
- Own paid media strategy, audience segmentation, budget allocation, conversion tracking, attribution, ROAS, CPL, CPA, and revenue scaling.
- Build and optimise Shopify, WooCommerce, and WordPress sales and lead-generation funnels, including product launches, promotions, quote requests, corporate applications, abandoned-cart recovery, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Lead conversion rate optimisation through A/B testing, UX improvements, site-speed initiatives, navigation enhancements, search optimisation, and customer journey analysis.
- Manage email marketing and automation programs using platforms such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, or comparable solutions.
- Develop automated workflows covering welcome journeys, abandoned-cart recovery, retention, re-engagement, promotions, seasonal campaigns, segmentation, personalisation, and database growth.
- Establish robust analytics and reporting using GA4, Google Tag Manager, Search Console, Microsoft Clarity, Merchant Center, advertising platforms, CRM reporting, and Looker Studio.
- Produce regular performance reporting covering revenue, qualified leads, ROAS, organic traffic, conversion rates, AI search visibility, keyword performance, and pipeline growth.
- Continuously test, measure, and refine campaigns and digital experiences based on performance data and commercial outcomes.
- Work independently while maintaining clear ownership of growth targets, priorities, execution, and performance improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in digital marketing and e-commerce growth, with a proven record of delivering measurable commercial results.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads, including Search and Performance Max campaigns.
- Demonstrated success growing B2B e-commerce businesses and generating qualified inbound leads from business customers.
- Advanced expertise in SEO, AEO, GEO, AI search optimisation, and strategies designed to increase visibility across traditional search engines and large language model platforms.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce growth principles, including conversion rate optimisation, customer acquisition, retention, merchandising, Average Order Value, Customer Lifetime Value, and cart-abandonment reduction.
- Hands-on experience managing Shopify, WooCommerce, and WordPress environments.
- Strong B2B funnel development experience, including landing pages, lead magnets, quote requests, corporate account applications, CRM automation, lead nurturing, and email sequences.
- Advanced experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, and digital performance analytics.
- Experience with Klaviyo, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, or comparable marketing automation platforms.
- Strong paid media capabilities across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Microsoft, YouTube, and related channels.
- Excellent copywriting, content strategy, storytelling, and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset, with the ability to translate performance data into clear decisions and growth opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple digital channels and priorities while maintaining close attention to performance and detail.
- Highly autonomous, proactive, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment and take full ownership of growth targets.
- Experience marketing office supplies, workplace products, business essentials, furniture, cleaning products, packaging, technology, stationery, education supplies, hospitality products, PPE, safety products, or facility management products is highly regarded.
- Experience selling to corporate businesses, government, education, healthcare, construction, professional services, or multi-site organisations is an advantage.
