The Digital Marketing Coordinator is a key member of our digital marketing team responsible for implementing marketing strategies and campaigns across the Firm’s digital marketing channels, including Proskauer.com, blogs, podcasts, social media channels, and other sites. Working within our Business Development, Marketing and Communications Department’s digital marketing team and reporting to the Associate Director of Digital Marketing, they will help plan, publish, promote, and analyze digital marketing efforts, and assist with the management of the Firm’s online presence.

The Digital Marketing Coordinator requires close work with lawyers on web promotions and postings, liaising with IT and external vendors on technical updates and development, and working with other internal departments, such as diversity, pro bono, recruiting, and professional development, to support digital communications associated with the Firm’s cultural and talent initiatives.

This position will have exposure to all Firm online marketing and communications efforts and is ideal for someone who wishes to learn more about and has a passion for digital marketing.

  • Make regular content updates to Firm websites and help ensure that all content adheres to brand styles, protocols and policies
  • Promote content on the Firm websites to be in line with firm marketing initiatives and campaigns
  • Liaise with Communications, Design, Public Relations, Digital Media, Events and Business Development teams to ensure that our digital marketing efforts align with and effectively promote communications, marketing, and branding efforts
  • Help develop, publish and analyze marketing campaigns and initiatives with our internal business development, digital marketing and communications teams
  • Review and help optimize digital content and pages for user experience and search engine optimization
  • Contribute to developing our online presence and activity to increase reach, engagement and interaction through channel and hub development
  • Work with our competitive intelligence team to analyze campaigns, channels and initiatives to determine the success and effectiveness of digital marketing approaches and improve future marketing efforts
  • Assist senior team members in managing overall digital marketing effectiveness for the Firm
  • Assist with regular functionality reviews, testing and troubleshooting of the Firm’s web properties and liaise with internal and external support as needed
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years’ experience working in a digital marketing, marketing operations, or analytics role desired. Experience working in a legal environment a plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience working with website content management systems, RubyLaw a plus
  • Detail oriented with an emphasis on quality control
  • Experience working with Google Analytics and/or other website reporting tools a plus
  • Understanding of social media strategies and channels
  • Energetic and enthusiastic team player
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Some experience working with Adobe Creative Suite applications, such as Photoshop and Dreamweaver a plus

This position will require physical presence in Proskauer’s offices on a regular basis (at least 3x per week, or more, if it becomes the policy of the Firm or as business needs require). The anticipated compensation range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
