Duties, Responsibilities & Other

Essential Duties and Responsibilities*:

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator with a focus on SEO and ongoing website optimization to maintain our digital content and improve our online visibility, user experience, and search performance. This role will support day-to-day digital initiatives, including website and intranet updates, local SEO and Google Business Profile management, content optimization, social media strategy, and performance tracking.

This is a mid-level role ideal for someone who understands digital marketing across multiple channels, is familiar with SEO fundamentals, enjoys working hands-on in content management systems, and is eager to continuously improve digital performance through data-driven strategies.

SEO & Website Optimization

  • Upload, organize, format, and publish new pieces of content to the external website.
  • Update and maintain website content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with best practices.
  • Support content optimization efforts for blogs, landing pages, service pages, and project or news content.
  • Implement and maintain SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, metadata, internal linking, and technical SEO basics.
  • Monitor website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms.
  • Identify opportunities for ongoing improvement and implement SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and visibility.
  • Collaborate with content and design teams to optimize pages for search and user experience.
  • Track SEO and digital performance metrics and prepare regular reports.
  • Stay current on SEO trends, algorithm updates, and digital best practices.

Content Management

  • Manage and update intranet content to ensure information is current, organized, and easy to navigate.
  • Support internal teams by posting updates, announcements, and resources to the intranet as needed.
  • Develop data-driven social strategies that support SEO and website growth.
  • Analyze and report on social-to-web performance metrics.
  • Optimize posting schedules and content formats for engagement and traffic.
  • Collaborate with content and design teams to align messaging and campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities to improve online visibility and search authority through social amplification.
  • Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles, including address updates, service listings, and coordination with office managers as needed.
  • Ensure business listings are accurate and consistent across all digital platforms.

Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, SEO, or website content management.
  • Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and best practices.
  • Experience working in WordPress.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Education and/or Work Experience Preferred:

  • Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Business Profile.
  • Familiarity with SEM.
  • Experience working in other CMS platforms.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, or technical SEO concepts.
  • Experience supporting intranet platforms or internal communications tools.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
