The main purpose of this position is to ensure the maximum prevalence and knowledge of the Corteva company's products and technologies within crop protection and biologicals businesses getting closer to the customers, Corteva Italy is currently seeking a Digital Marketing & Communication Specialist.


Under the general supervision of the Marketing Manager, the purpose of this job is to support and execute on the marketing, advertising, campaign and online communication initiatives for Italy.


This role will work closely on a day-to-day basis with the local Sales teams, Category Marketing Managers, as well as external advertisement- and media companies for coordination and development of local advertising/promotion requests for local marketing country activities.

Location: Cremona, Italy (Hybrid)

Your Challenge
  • As an integral member of the commercial team, works closely with Marketing team to ensure appropriate content is created for marketing initiatives, including email communications, Websites, Digital tools, Paid Search and Social media activities.

  • Digital content management: primary content manager of Corteva Italy websites, including regular content updates, digital asset management, file uploads, ongoing search engine optimization, and coordination with associated developed content from central Corteva.com global cross-country initiatives.

  • Design campaign tracking strategies, measure key variables, and optimize campaigns to achieve performance objectives (directly or through external resources).

  • Use web analytics and other tools to identify areas for improvement and maintenance. Responsible for reporting dashboard metrics to internal key stakeholders.

  • Work with Marketing Agencies to execute and implement tactics that are specific to the annual defined communication strategies and plans, including active participation in project status calls and interfacing with agency on behalf of marketers and brand managers.

  • Drive the development of integrated customer journeys across digital and physical touchpoints, ensuring consistency of messaging and measurable business impact.

  • Translate complex technical content into customer-centric communication, adapting messaging to different target audiences.

  • Network with global team members and functional experts across company to identify opportunities for leveraging best practices and asset re-use.

Qualifications


To Grow What Matters, You Will Need

  • A background or strong interest in agriculture, agribusiness, or the crop protection industry is highly desirable, as it enables effective understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate technical product value into compelling marketing communication.

  • 3+ years of relevant experience.

  • Bachelor/ master’s in marketing, communication, media or other similar area, including agriculture-related field.

  • Flexible and able to adapt to shifting priorities. Extremely organized and able to juggle multiple projects, communicate with many stakeholders, and manage external resources at once.

  • Strong project management and time management skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage with basic direction from manager.

  • Gets results – consistent contributor who is results- versus activity-oriented.

  • Interest in new and emerging digital marketing practices. Experience using Digital Marketing tools is a plus –such as tools similar to: Adobe Experience Manager CMS, Eloqua, SharePoint, Google AdWords.

  • Ability to influence, network and collaborate to achieve both individual and business goals.

  • Proven aptitude for working across marketing, marketing communications and IT disciplines.

  • Excellent communications skills: verbal and written (English) and be able to build strong working relationships.
