About the Role

The role supports the Marketing Transformation function by providing structured tracking, analytics, dashboard reporting, and governance support across key marketing transformation initiatives. The role consolidates data and progress updates, monitors KPIs, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies, and prepares insights to support timely decision-making and delivery of marketing transformation outcomes.

The role will contribute to the team’s Transformation Governance, Performance & Insights capability, ensuring initiatives remain outcome-driven, transparent, and aligned to evolving marketing, customer, digital, and growth priorities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. KPI Tracking, Dashboarding and Performance Reporting

  • Support the tracking of transformation KPIs, milestones, and performance indicators across Marketing Transformation initiatives.
  • Maintain dashboards and tracking templates to provide a consistent view of progress, performance, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items.
  • Ensure data used for reporting is accurate, updated, and ready ahead of weekly, monthly, or management review meetings.
  • Consolidate inputs from workstream leads and functional stakeholders into structured performance updates.
  • Highlight trends, gaps, variances, and areas requiring management attention.

2. Progress Update and Governance Support

  • Prepare regular progress updates covering key achievements, upcoming milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions required, and next steps.
  • Support the running of governance cadence, including working sessions, weekly check-ins, monthly reviews, and programme updates.
  • Track follow-up actions from meetings and ensure owners, timelines, and closure status are clearly documented.
  • Maintain a single view of in-flight, upcoming, and at-risk Marketing Transformation initiatives.
  • Support the preparation of management materials, including PowerPoint updates, dashboards, trackers, and summary reports.

3. Risk, Issue and Dependency Tracking

  • Maintain risk, issue, dependency, and action logs across assigned Marketing Transformation initiatives.
  • Support timely follow-up with stakeholders on open actions, delayed items, and unresolved dependencies.
  • Identify potential cross-workstream impacts where delays or blockers may affect other initiatives.
  • Escalate critical items to the manager with clear context, impact, and proposed next steps.
  • Support visibility of delivery risks to enable proactive decision-making.

4. Data Analytics and Decision Support

  • Consolidate data from multiple sources into structured analysis and simple insights.
  • Analyse key performance trends related to marketing transformation initiatives, lead generation, customer engagement, act-on rates, conversion, campaign or journey performance, and business outcomes.
  • Support the development of dashboards, scorecards, and summary views for decision-making.
  • Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, or areas requiring deeper investigation.
  • Translate data findings into clear observations and practical recommendations for review by the manager.

5. Workstream Coordination Support

  • Support coordination across Marketing Transformation workstreams by arranging updates, documenting discussions, and tracking agreed actions.
  • Work with initiative owners and stakeholders to collect timely updates on milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risks.
  • Assist in documenting decisions, follow-ups, and key changes to scope, timeline, or expected outcomes.
  • Provide coordination support to ensure transformation initiatives remain visible and well-tracked.

6. Business Analysis and Documentation Support

  • Support basic business analysis activities, including process documentation, requirement notes, journey mapping, and issue documentation.
  • Assist in documenting current-state and future-state processes where required.
  • Support preparation of operating playbooks, reporting guides, process notes, and governance templates.
  • Work with the Marketing Transformation team to ensure documentation is organised, accessible, and updated.
  • Support continuous improvement of tracking, reporting, and governance processes.

7. Continuous Improvement and Ways of Working

  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting templates, dashboard views, tracking methods, and governance processes.
  • Support standardisation of reporting formats, definitions, and update mechanisms across workstreams.
  • Contribute ideas to improve visibility, efficiency, and delivery discipline within Marketing Transformation.
  • Support adoption of improved ways of working across relevant stakeholders and workstreams.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Fresh graduate to 2 years of relevant experience in analytics, business analysis, project coordination, marketing, transformation, operations, or related areas.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exposure to Power BI, dashboarding, data visualisation, SQL, automation tools, or reporting platforms will be an advantage.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work with structured data, trackers, dashboards, and reports.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to follow up on actions, organise information, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Curious, proactive, and willing to learn across marketing, customer, digital, analytics, and transformation topics.
