Job Description

If you’re looking for a career that will help you stand out, join HSBC, and fulfil your potential - whether you want a career that could take you to the top, or an exciting new direction, we offer opportunities, support and rewards that will take you further.

We’re one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world, with a network that covers more than 50 countries and territories. We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Digital Market Activation Manager – Wealth.

The Digital Market Activation team helps stakeholders embrace and adopt digital change at scale and speed. As Digital Market Activation Manager, you’ll work across Wealth Value Streams, enabling teams and inmarket stakeholders to ensure new digital features land smoothly—fully governed, risk-aware and ready for customers. You’ll lead business readiness from early engagement through gotomarket, benefits realisation and handover into business-as-usual support, helping markets adopt change with minimal disruption and maximum impact.

As an HSBC employee in the UK, you’ll have access to tailored professional development opportunities and a competitive pay and benefits package. This includes private healthcare for all UK-based employees, enhanced maternity and adoption pay and support when you return to work, and a contributory pension scheme with a generous employer contribution.

In this role you’ll:

  • Partner with Global Digital Product Owners, Wealth Value Streams, regional IT and local Digital teams to embed digital change into markets effectively.
  • Own business readiness activity for a portfolio of digital initiatives, including change impact assessment, communications, training, migration and implementation planning.
  • Drive robust governance, working closely with risk stewards and incountry regulatory teams to ensure compliant delivery and clear decision-making.
  • Plan and execute gotomarket activity for feature releases, ensuring markets are equipped with procedures, MI, operational readiness and release approaches.
  • Coordinate and support delivery of local training (e.g., contact centre and branch/network) to enable successful adoption of new features.
  • Manage staff and customer pilot activity, track inmarket performance, and report on benefits realisation through to handover to market and digital teams.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Proven track record of working directly with markets/regions to deliver business readiness for digital change is essential (multi-market delivery experience preferred).
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to align teams with competing priorities.
  • Excellent analytical, planning and governance capability, with a track record of identifying and mitigating risks/issues proactively.
  • Demonstrated understanding of digital channels and customer considerations, including technical and marketplace impacts - essential
  • Proven expertise in managing large scale communications (internal/external), operational impact assessment, training, migration and implementation planning - essential
  • Strong experience in leading digital change/transformation initiatives – essential
  • Private Banking or Wealth Management experience - desirable
