Your Job

As a Digital Manufacturing Site Administrator based in Sanchong, Taiwan, you will provide hands-on IT and Operational Technology (OT) support for Molex Taiwan Overall operations. You will help keep local infrastructure, endpoint devices, manufacturing-related systems, workplace technologies, and business core applications running reliably while supporting site expansion, ERP/MES and digital tool deployments or upgrades, vendor coordination, compliance, and incident response in alignment with global IT standards and business priorities. You will also act as a local technology partner for business and manufacturing teams, supporting digital transformation initiatives and helping drive adoption of enterprise and digital manufacturing solutions.

Our Team

You will work closely with Taiwan manufacturing, engineering, logistics, quality, facilities, finance, HR, and site administration teams, while partnering with regional and global Enterprise IT, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Application Support, Digital Manufacturing, and Procurement teams. The role serves as a local bridge between business operations and global technology delivery to support production stability, business continuity, risk reduction, and digital innovation.

What You Will Do

  • Provide responsive on-site IT/OT support across manufacturing sites, engineering office, and logistics environments to enable stable daily operations and strong user experience.
  • Operate, maintain, and improve site technology services including networks, wireless, server rooms, endpoints, collaboration tools, identity and access support, workplace technologies and shop-floor infrastructure.
  • Support manufacturing-related applications and local integrated systems such as ERP, MES, shopfloor devices, label printing, barcode scanning, access control, CCTV, OT devices (PLCs, HMIs, IIoT gateways, historians) and other production-supporting technologies.
  • Coordinate timely resolution of incidents and service requests through standard enterprise support processes, especially when issues may impact production or business continuity.
  • Partner with business users, vendors, and regional/global IT teams on infrastructure, digital manufacturing, application, and business expansion initiatives from requirements clarification through implementation, go-live readiness, and stabilization.
  • Promote technology innovation, automation, and data-driven improvements that enhance operational efficiency, reduce risk, and strengthen sustainable IT/OT support capabilities for Taiwan operations.
  • Support cybersecurity, vulnerability remediation, backup and recovery strategies, audit/compliance activities, and business continuity planning in accordance with enterprise standards.
  • Maintain accurate site documentation, asset records, support procedures, vendor/service information, warranty tracking, and operational readiness for critical local systems.
  • Coordinate local vendors and service providers to support installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, procurement activities, service quality, invoice follow-up, warranty tracking, and lifecycle management of site technology assets.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Automation, or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, endpoint support, systems administration, manufacturing IT support.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Windows endpoints and servers, Microsoft 365, networking, wireless, printing, IT asset management, and standard IT service management processes.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing OT environments, including PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, IIoT solutions, MES, shopfloor systems, or related technologies.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity for IT/OT environments, compliance, vulnerability remediation, backup/recovery, business continuity, and enterprise support processes.
  • Good English communication skills (Writing and Oral)
  • Occasional travel within Taiwan or APAC may be required for project support, training, vendor engagement, or best-practice sharing.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience supporting manufacturing IT/OT environments, MES, shopfloor systems, production-related applications, or multi-site operational environments.
  • Experience with application support, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 administration, scripting/coding, low-code automation, or process improvement.
  • Experience supporting ERP, MES, digital tools, system procedures, upgrades, and go-live/stabilization activities that improve business processes.
  • Demonstrated ownership mindset and strong customer focus, with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality support in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands and collaborate effectively across local and global teams.
