Description

Job Purpose:Lead the monitoring and analysis of the digital and financial inclusion portfolios, ensuring effective risk management, policy compliance, and alignment with the bank’s strategic objectives. Also, responsible for driving portfolio growth, enhancing market share, and optimizing profitability by providing strategic insights, maintaining credit quality, and supporting financial inclusion and digital transformation initiatives.Job Description:1.Manage the Portfolio monitoring process using quantitative models in order to provide portfolio drilldowns, segmented analysis to ensure credit quality is being maintained across all digital and financial inclusion products.2.Deliver data-driven insights through utilize advanced data analytics to identify growth opportunities, enhance product offerings, and refine risk management strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial inclusion goals3.Monitor and control credit risks within the digital lending portfolio, capitalizing on advanced analytics to identify high risk segments and collaborate with the digital policy team to develop mitigation strategies.4.Lead the analysis and testing of new digital lending products, segments, and programs, providing insights and recommendations based on performance data and market research to support informed decision-making.5.Develop and implement comprehensive portfolio monitoring frameworks that encompasses key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and customer level insights, to facilitate timely intervention and define vulnerability.6.Monitor the industry trends, regulatory developments, and rivalry activities that may impact the digital financial inclusion portfolio.7.Provide Segment wise analysis and introduce advanced segment and subsegment vintage analysis, in line with the Digital Banking segmentation strategy, and work closely with the respective Policy Managers to recommend policy actions and highlight possible portfolio growth opportunities as well.8.Develop risk tolerance benchmarks and Key Risk Indicators to ensure rigorous portfolio quality in line with the Bank's risk appetite.9.Contribute to the formulation and implementation of the Consumer Risk strategy to ensure the alignment with CIB strategy.10.Leverage advanced data analytics such as decision trees, customer level vintages and RAR analysis to evaluate performance, build behavioural trends, and identify areas for improvement in digital offerings to maximize profitability while optimizing risks.11.Implement stress testing and scenario analysis to gauge the portfolio’s resilience under different economic conditions and customer behaviour changes.12.Develop strategies to reduce non-performing loans (NPLs) by identifying and intervening in high-risk accounts early in the loan cycle, and work closely with collections teams to monitor and enhance recovery efforts for delinquent portfolios.13.Develop monitoring tools for the provisioning levels of the different segments and products based on changes in portfolio performance and macroeconomic factors, and ensure that fraud detection systems are integrated into portfolio monitoring processes of digital products.Policies, Processes and Procedures14.Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.Day-to-day management15.Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.Compliance16.Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLSQualifications & Experience· Bachelor’s degree of Commerce, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent.· 6-7 years relevant experience.Skills· Analytical and influencing skills.· Risk Management expertise.· Data Driven decision making expertise.

Commercial International Bank was established in 1975 as a joint venture between the National Bank of Egypt (NBE, 51%) and the Chase Manhattan Bank (49%) under the name "Chase National Bank of Egypt”.
