Salary / Rate: Flexible depending on experience and engagement type — we are open to considering salaried, hourly or daily rate arrangements. £35k - £45k

We’re looking for a highly creative Digital Learning & Curriculum Designer to join the team and help shape engaging, high-quality learning experiences across a wide range of subject areas including employability, life skills, vocational training and professional development.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on taking projects from concept through to completion, enjoys working across varied programmes and audiences, and can turn complex ideas into engaging and accessible learning content.
You’ll work closely with trainers, subject matter experts and partners to design innovative digital and blended learning programmes that support learners across different sectors and stages of their journey. We’re looking for someone who is curious, proactive, highly organised, and passionate about creating learning that genuinely connects with people. Experience developing content for multinational audiences and regions, including the UK, Canada and the USA, would be highly advantageous.
What you’ll be doing
Designing and developing interactive, accessible content across multiple formats (e-learning, slide decks, workbooks, media)
Working with subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with real-world industry needs
Leading course builds in our LMS, optimising learner experience and interactivity
Improving and updating existing materials to enhance accessibility, consistency, and learner engagement
Developing meaningful assessments aligned with awarding body standards (e.g. SQA, NOCN)
Championing user-centred design and digital innovation in learning
What you’ll bring
Proven experience designing content for adult, vocational, and young learners, with a focus on adapting materials to suit diverse developmental stages and learning needs
Strong instructional design skills and proficiency with authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Rise/Storyline, Adapt, Canva)
Experience using an LMS (Docebo or similar)
Ability to simplify technical content and create engaging, inclusive learning materials
