Telehealth GP Opportunity – Work From Home with Aspen Medical

  • Service Operating Hours (1 January to 31 March, AEDT):
    • Sunday: 6:00 pm – 12:00 am (midnight)
    • Monday – Saturday: continuous 24-hour operation (12:00 am Monday to 11:59 pm Saturday)
  • Self-Rostering: Minimum 15 to 20 hours per fortnight (minimum 2-hour shifts).
  • Professional Development: Access CPD opportunities and join our Clinical Community of Practice for ongoing learning and peer support.
  • Comprehensive Support:
    • 2 days paid training
    • 24/7 Support
    • Laptop and headset provided

  • Guaranteed Hourly Rates: Paid by the hour not based on call volume so you can focus on patient care:

Rates on offer

  • Casual Rate: $175 to $200/hr (Public Holiday rate - $245/hr)
  • Permanent Rate: $158 to $181/hr (Public Holiday rate - $221/hr)

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered consultations via audio and video calls.
  • Provide timely, evidence-based medical advice and diagnostic decision-making.
  • Create clear, actionable care summaries and connect patients with appropriate local services.
  • Apply best-practice digital care using My Health Record, e-prescribing, and secure messaging.
  • Support continuity of care by documenting every interaction and communicating outcomes back to the patient’s regular GP where appropriate.

What We’re Looking For

  • Unrestricted Specialist GP registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in general practice (including at least one year in Australia).
  • Excellent communication skills and strong English proficiency.
  • Previous telehealth experience or willingness to upskill.
  • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 Mbps download / 20 Mbps upload.
  • High digital literacy with telehealth platforms and clinical systems.
  • Availability for part-time or casual positions.
