CLA is currently seeking a DigitalGrowth Director – State & Local Governmentto join our growing Digital Team.

The Digital Growth Director (DGD) works with our State & Local Government industry, geographic, and Digital service teams toidentify, qualify, and close opportunities for CLA digital products and services with accountability for a revenue goal.

As a Digital IndustryDirector, you will:

• Build relationships with CLA family members to engage in seamless growth opportunities.

• Execute industry-specific strategy, playbook, and marketing plans.

• Stay updated on industry trends; contribute to solutions that address client needs.

• Qualify leads,participatein pursuit teams, and manage the sales cycle to close.

• Generate newclient leadsin the market: conferences, roundtables, events.

• Execute pre-sales activities—scoping, pricing, and deal reviews.

• Transition won worktoservicedeliveryteams.

• Act as Digitalrelationshipleaderforselectaccounts.

• Maintainaccurateactivity and lead/opportunity qualification information in CRM.

• Supervise, mentor, and develop growth team members.

Your experiencelikely includes

• 8+ years of sales or business development experience

• Bachelor'sdegree isrequired Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree

• DeepState and Local Governmentindustry fluencypreferred

• Strong understanding ofState and Local Governmentprocurement guidelines and requirementspreferred

• Strong understanding ofState and Local GovernmentKPI’s, risk, regulatory, and compliance considerations.

• Current onState and Local Governmenttrends in Digital enablement through professional reading content, online content, and relationships with clients and prospects. 

• Participationin andleading ofRFP/RFI response proposals.

• Ability to effectively communicate withState and Local Governmentclient/prospect leadership to foster long term relationships.

• Strategic advisory mindset grounded inState and Local Governmentindustry realities to guide executives on digital priorities,tradeoffs, and transformation decisions that align to business outcomes.

• Strong understanding of growth metrics and technology sales cycles

• Team leadership and talent development

• Sales management experience

• Able to travel >25%
