Role : Digital Graphic Designer (Junior- mid-weight)
Location: Hybrid. 3 days per week in Clapham Junction

About the role...

As a Digital Designer at The Gym Group, you’ll bring our brand to life across digital channels through bold, engaging and high-quality creative. You’ll play a key role in delivering impactful campaigns that connect with our audiences, balancing creativity with commercial objectives.

Working closely with the Studio Manager, Senior Graphic Designer, UX/UI, Marketing and wider business teams, you’ll take briefs from concept to execution—producing on-brand creative that enhances the customer experience across every touchpoint.

With a strong digital focus, you’ll design for paid media, website, app, CRM and social, while also using motion and animation to create dynamic, high-performing content. Alongside this, you’ll support broader studio output, ensuring consistency and quality across everything we produce.

You’ll bring fresh thinking, stay on top of trends and emerging tools (including AI), and help push our creative forward—delivering best-in-class digital experiences.

Key responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality design assets for campaigns across paid media, website, app, CRM and social

  • Design channel-specific creative for email, social, paid and in-platform content

  • Produce motion and animated assets to enhance campaign performance

  • Collaborate with Studio, UX/UI, Marketing and stakeholders to deliver effective creative solutions

  • Develop strong conceptual ideas aligned to brand, audience and campaign objectives

  • Support wider studio output including print, presentations and integrated campaigns

  • Ensure all work meets brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity

  • Collaborate with the team, share ideas and contribute to a positive creative culture

  • Respond to feedback and iterate efficiently within deadlines

  • Stay up to date with trends, tools and AI-driven design opportunities

About you...

  • Proven experience in a digital design role across channels like paid media, web, app, CRM and social

  • Strong motion/animation skills (e.g. After Effects)

  • Solid grounding in graphic design principles across digital and print

  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); After Effects and Figma essential

  • Experience creating assets across multiple formats with a strong understanding of channel best practice

  • Interest in emerging tech and AI tools within design workflows

  • Understanding of design systems, accessibility and responsive design (a plus)

  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for high-quality craft

  • Confident collaborator in a fast-paced, team environment

  • Comfortable taking feedback and iterating work quickly and effectively
