At Alstom, we understand transport networks and what moves people. From high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility, we offer our diverse customers the broadest portfolio in the industry. Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.
Could you be the full-time Digital Fleet Support Developer (F/M) in Valenciennes Petite-Forêt we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in railway maintenance within a dynamic and digital environment. You’ll work alongside a dynamic, collaborative, and solution-oriented team, playing a vital role in shaping the Services France BeLux strategy.
You'll lead the way in defining and deploying fleet supervision strategies, ensuring that technical solutions meet operational needs. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with supervision solution users, maintenance teams, and development engineering teams, while also compiling requirements, identifying available technical solutions from the Digital Services portfolio, and defining use cases for implementation.
You’ll specifically take care of defining the strategy and roadmap for fleet supervision deployment, but also maintaining a strong relationship with both internal and external stakeholders.
We’ll look to you for:
Identifying train supervision needs during operations and maintaining client relationships
Managing the Digital Services platform solution catalog for application in projects
Defining supervision roadmaps and specifying needs for Fleet Support Centers
Developing offers aligned with project and Service Center requirements
Establishing data exploitation processes and measuring supervision adoption to develop action plans
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
Engineering degree or equivalent (Bac+5)
Experience in the railway sector and embedded electronic systems; knowledge of communication architectures and/or data management is a plus
Strong analytical skills, initiative, and the ability to propose innovative solutions
Proven communication and leadership skills within a matrix organization
Availability for occasional travel in France, Belgium, and Luxembourg
Fluency in French and English
You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
