How you will make an impact:
CTD is a service business within Pharma Service Group, which offers logistics and packaging/labeling services (main products) serving clinical trial supply market.
We are hiring a Digital Financial Analyst (Data Analyst) to modernize forecasting and analytics for a fast-growing, multi-country services business. This is a hands-on role for someone with a strong data/coding background who can design and build forecasting models and automate data transformation to improve forecast accuracy, scalability, and decision support.
What you will do:
1. Forecast Model Design & Build (Core)
• Design and develop an end-to-end data-driven forecasting model that supports protocol-level dynamics.
• Build forecasting logic using appropriate techniques (e.g., time-series methods, cohort/trend models, probability-weighted conversion, scenario-based forecasting).
• Define model inputs, feature sets, assumptions structure, and outputs to enable transparency and governance.
• Create scalable model architecture that supports future enhancements (new data feeds, new segments, additional scenarios).
• Establish model documentation, versioning, testing, and validation routines to ensure reliability and auditability.
2. Data Engineering & Automation
• Build automated workflows for data extraction, cleaning, transformation, and enrichment from multiple sources (commercial, operational, finance trackers, protocol systems).
• Replace recurring manual Excel-heavy processes with coded pipelines and standardized datasets (“single source of truth” tables).
• Implement quality checks (completeness, duplicates, outliers, reconciliation to reported numbers) and exception reporting.
• Develop reusable “data products” (tables, curated datasets, metric layers) that can feed forecast, reporting, and ad-hoc analysis.
How you will get here:
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Econometrics, or related field (Finance degree acceptable if paired with strong coding/data experience).
• 3–7 years of experience in data analytics, analytics engineering, data science, or similar roles (demonstrated experience building forecasting models end-to-end).
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Strong coding skills in Python (pandas) and SQL (data extraction/transformation).
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to work with messy, real-world datasets.
• Clear communication: able to explain technical outputs to non-technical audiences.
Preferred:
• Experience with time-series forecasting / statistical modeling and model validation approaches.
• Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI/Tableau) and building datasets for reporting.
