Job Description

The Intern, Digital Field Marketing is responsible for assisting the Digital Field Marketing team with the execution of defined services that support the area and hotels' digital business needs.

This entry-level role will ensure the completion of defined tasks as requested by Managers who oversee a portfolio of hotels.

The role will be looking after the hotels’ online marketing channels to maximise online presence and attribute to the hotels' performance.

The Intern, Digital Field Marketing will support the pull-through of activities and activations as defined by the programme schedules as set out by the Digital Field Marketing leadership team. This position reports directly to the Digital Specialist Manager.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office Suite knowledge, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Internship program runs for 6 months and is designed for students, or recent graduates looking to kick-start a career in digital marketing.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Managing Workflows – Optimization of Digital Hotel Presence

  • Load hotels offers as directed by the Centralized Workflow dashboard
  • Build offers in MBOP (hotel offers / ancillary offers / MEOs and EEOs) as required
  • Assist in the execution and implementation of deliverables, including audits, as outlined by the Centralized Workflow dashboard
  • Support in optimizing content related tasks such as asset management, content score monitoring, and OTA content as outlined by the Centralized Workflow dashboard
  • Reviewing of all hotel images on DAC to ensure they are 100% up to date
  • Adding new images or removing old images from DAC
  • Updating of outdated PDFs/Menus/Content/Events
  • Actioning content updates in Product Catalogue or via ticketing through mPortal and Client Community
  • Image and content updates on OTAs and Tripadvisor

    Reporting Suite
  • Support DFM team in pulling automated reports for participating hotels and distribute to relevant team member within set time frame.

SEO Support

  • Publishing content optimization updates for hotels in the programme across the various platforms including Product Catalogue and DAC
  • Opening and tracking tickets for meta data updates
  • Audit of HWS to ensure updates have been published successfully

Supporting Operations

  • Works with all team members to guarantee supporting tactics are executed on-time and at a high-quality.
  • Provides feedback to continually improve work processes and systems that support program execution.
  • Establishes and maintains complete and up-to-date information
  • Attends training to increase subject matter expertise and deepen skills.
  • Actively seeks out opportunities to learn more about the digital industry.
  • Provide additional support as needed
