ABOUT THE PROJECT
The Tram to Springvale Alliance (TSA), made up of BMD Constructions, CPB Contractors and Arup, is delivering the Eastern Freeway Upgrades between Tram and Springvale roads. The works include new express lanes, upgraded noise walls, and revitalised areas of the Koonung Creek Linear Park.

The project is being delivered under an Alliance Contract with Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA), forming a single, collaborative team. As part of the North East Link Program (NELP), the upgrade will improve safety and efficiency for over 135,000 daily vehicles, remove 15,000 trucks from local roads, and reduce traffic across the Yarra River by 50,000 vehicles per day.

We’re completing the link together and bringing it home for our community.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Digital Engineering Manager, you will support the Digital Engineering team in delivering project-wide digital engineering outcomes and contribute to the development, coordination, and management of project information and models.

This role provides hands-on experience across BIM coordination, model management, digital collaboration platforms, engineering technologies, and data-driven project delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Digital Engineering team to achieve project digital deliverables.
• Assist with BIM and Digital Engineering coordination activities across project disciplines.
• Perform model reviews, validation checks, clash detection, and issue resolution.
• Support interdisciplinary coordination using tools such as Navisworks and Revizto.
• Assist engineers and designers with virtual design reviews.
• Manage and maintain models and digital information within common data environments.
• Support project information management and data exchange processes.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for curious, innovative, and collaborative graduates who are passionate about engineering and infrastructure construction.

You will ideally have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Digital Engineering, BIM, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related AEC discipline.
• An interest in digital technologies and their application in major infrastructure projects.
• Exposure to 3D modelling, BIM, or engineering design software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• A willingness to learn and thrive in a fast-paced project environment.
