Digital Engagement Lead

As Digital Engagement Lead, you will play a crucial role in building farmer confidence with digital solutions that provide valuable insights to guide their farming decisions. You will serve as the local digital expert, connecting the Climate FieldView team, New Business Models team, Business Unit Lead, and local sales squad to achieve digital platform targets. Your focus will be on fostering a seamless integration of digital farming solutions at a local level. This role will be responsible for West Central Minnesota.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide on-farm expertise to assist key customers with the installation and troubleshooting of Bayer’s precision agriculture technologies; manage data collection/mapping challenges; diagnose and resolve connectivity issues (e.g., FieldView Drive); educate growers on Bayer’s Digital Farming Solutions portfolio;
  • Act as a coach to squad members to enhance digital acumen; enable customer acquisition, retention, engagement, and digital revenue through solution selling via FieldView and New Business Models;
  • Identify transformative farmers, dealers, and retailers for digital trial and testing opportunities;
  • Develop deep expertise on current digital software (FieldView, DMP) and hardware (FieldView Drive); ensure on-farm compatibility and setup;
  • Provide input to Digital and Crop Mission Teams regarding customer needs and features in development;
  • Develop use cases for existing and new features; train squad members on these use cases;
  • Train Field Sales Representatives and dealers on data-driven agronomic decision-making using FieldView;
  • Support key customers with data acquisition and clean-up;
  • Train squad members and dealers on the execution of New Business Models workflow.

WHO YOU ARE:

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence and motivate key stakeholders;
  • Position requires driving for the company, possibly under DOT/FMCSA jurisdiction, involving safe hauling of trailers, products, supplies, or equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree within an agricultural field preferred;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience within digital agricultural platforms;
  • Experience working closely with seed/chemical sellers, growers, and sales organizations;
  • 5 years of working experience in agriculture and/or digital field;
  • Expertise in digital software (FieldView, DMP), hardware, farm equipment compatibility and setup, data collection, and use of data-driven features such as reports and scripting.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $83,442.40 - $125,162.60 Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Other benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. If selected for this role, the offer may vary based on market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
