Digital Divide Coordinator

Department: Oak Hill Integrated Centers

Report to: Director of Assistive Technology Services

Location: Role is based in Hartford, CT and requires daily travel throughout Northwestern Connecticut.

Status: Exempt | Non-Union

At Oak Hill, we believe technology can create greater independence, connection, and opportunity. We are seeking a Digital Divide Coordinator to help bridge technology gaps for older adults and individuals with disabilities throughout rural communities in Northwestern Connecticut.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, building community relationships, and teaching technology skills in a supportive, mission-driven environment. The successful candidate will join a kind, collaborative, and highly productive team that values communication, mutual support, accountability, and a willingness to learn.

What You'll Do

  • Provide technology assistance and digital literacy support through in-person and virtual services.
  • Conduct individual and group trainings on technology tools and resources.
  • Develop and deliver workshops, presentations, and community outreach activities.
  • Build partnerships with community organizations and service providers.
  • Connect participants to assistive technology services and other available resources.
  • Track program activities and maintain required documentation and reporting.

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Experience in disability services, human services, social work, education, or a related field.
  • Experience using and troubleshooting technology devices and applications.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout Northwestern Connecticut.
