Job Title: Digital Demand and Business Analysis Manager

The Digital Demand and Business Analysis Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end Digital demand management capability and the Business Analysis function, ensuring demand is captured, assessed and prioritised effectively and that high quality analysis supports delivery across Digital.
The role owns demand intake and associated governance, and is accountable for providing clear demand insight, prioritised pipelines and decision support to enable effective portfolio planning and capacity management.
It works closely with business and Digital stakeholders to shape demand and leads the Business Analysis team to ensure consistent standards, quality outputs and alignment across the demand and delivery lifecycle.
Accountabilities
Business Analysis Capability– Lead and develop the Business Analysis capability, ensuring consistent standards, high quality outputs and effective alignment with demand and delivery across Digital. Provide direction, prioritisation and oversight of BA activity.
Demand Intake and Triage – Operate the end to end demand intake process, acting as the single point of coordination. Ensure requests are categorised, clarified and triaged with clear scope, urgency, value and dependencies. Facilitate structured triage forums and cross functional review.
Impact Assessment – Oversee and assure the quality of impact assessments covering strategic alignment, indicative cost and effort, feasibility, risks, constraints, capacity implications and delivery options. Provide objective analysis to support governance decision making.
Pipeline Management and Prioritisation – Own and manage a transparent, prioritised demand pipeline aligned to strategy, governance criteria and capacity. Provide clear visibility of demand and highlight bottlenecks, risks and dependencies.
Reporting and Insights – Produce forward looking demand profiles, dashboards and management information to support portfolio level planning. Provide insight and challenge to support effective decision making.
Stakeholder Engagement – Engage proactively with senior stakeholders to set expectations, clarify outcomes and manage competing priorities. Influence and challenge to support prioritisation decisions and alignment across Digital and business teams.
People Leadership and Development – Lead and manage the Business Analysis team, setting clear objectives, supporting performance, and developing individuals to build a strong and effective team.
