Digital Delivery Lead – Water Utilities

What you’ll do

As the Digital Delivery Lead for the Water Utilities Team in SE QLD you’ll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind. The Digital Delivery Lead will be responsible for driving end-to-end digital delivery (BIM/digital engineering) across land & water projects. The role focuses on model integration, coordination, and client-ready digital outputs - not just using software, but orchestrating systems, people, and processes.

• Lead digital delivery on major projects for key SE QLD Infrastructure clients
• Coordinate and federate design models across disciplines
• Manage digital execution plans and delivery workflows
• Contribute to resilient and innovative engineering solutions

What you’ll bring

• Strong experience in digital delivery / BIM coordination / digital engineering
• Exposure to infrastructure projects (water, transport, industrial beneficial but not essential)
• Conversant with process mechanical deliverables, data structures, and asset ranges (E.g. P&IDs, Piping models & supporting disciplines, Isometrics) and cross discipline interfaces, beneficial but not essential.
• Conversant with Land Infrastructure deliverables and data structures such as earthworks, corridor assemblies and alignments, long sections, and structural interfaces beneficial but not essential.
• Delivery ecosystem understanding (critical requirement)
• Expertise in:
  • Model federation
  • Multi-platform integration (e.g. Autodesk Forma and similar)
  • Digital delivery frameworks
• Ability to coordinate across multiple software ecosystems
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
• A desire to advocate efficiency, continuous improvement, automation and the adoption of new technologies.
• The ability to mentor junior and intermediate and offshore staff in the digital engineering and information modelling discipline, and translate digital ways of working through value, benefits and risks to wider project and organisational teams.
