Job Description

Your purpose at Stanley/Stella

  • We’re looking for a Digital Data Specialist who will own and elevate our entire measurement ecosystem, turning raw data into  clear, actionable insights that directly impact business decisions, customer journeys, and performance.
    You won’t just report numbers.
    You’ll challenge assumptions, uncover opportunities and influence strategy across marketing, ecommerce and digital products.

You are the  bridge between data, business and experience

Your role and impact

1. Tracking & Data Governance
Ensure data is accurate, structured and compliant across all touchpoints.
  • Own tracking across website, webshop, marketing tools and future products
  • Design data layer, event taxonomy & tracking specs
  • Manage tagging (Piwik PRO / GA / GTM): events, ecommerce, pixels, UTMs, paid media
  • Validate implementations & run audits (quality, consistency, GDPR, CMP)
  • Monitor scripts & impact on Core Web Vitals

2. Reporting & Business Insights
Turn data into  decision-making tools, not just dashboards.
  • Build Power BI reporting (DAX, Power Query, AI)
  • Define & align KPIs: performance, acquisition, funnels, retention, campaigns, AI visibility
  • Structure robust data models for consistent tracking
  • Support business reviews with clear insights (risks, opportunities, actions)
  • Enable self-service analytics with strong governance
  • Translate complex data into simple, business-driven narratives

3. Customer Journey Analysis, CRO & Optimisation
Identify friction and unlock growth.
  • Analyse journeys & funnels (Hotjar, Clarity, Mouseflow)
  • Detect drop-offs & optimisation opportunities
  • Support A/B testing, personalisation & CRO
  • Partner with teams to turn insights into measurable improvements

4. Performance Monitoring & Product Analytics
Connect performance, usage and product evolution.
  • Monitor website performance (Core Web Vitals, RumVision) with IT
  • Analyse product usage & feature adoption
  • Contribute to event-based / product analytics evolution
  • Support data-driven, AI-enabled experiences

5. Market Intelligence
Bring an external, forward-looking perspective.
  • Benchmark competitors (traffic, pricing, UX, visibility) via scraping & tools
  • Track trends: AI-driven discovery, search evolution
  • Explore AI analytics: anomaly detection, predictive insights

6. Cross-functional Collaboration & Data Culture
Be the  go-to expert for analytics.
  • Translate business needs into measurable solutions
  • Work cross-functionally (Marketing, Product, BI, IT)
  • Improve UTM discipline, measurement quality, analytics maturity
  • Drive a strong data-driven culture

About you

Must-have
  • Strong experience: Piwik PRO / GA / GTM + GDPR / CMP
  • Solid knowledge: web analytics, ecommerce, event tracking, conversion
  • Experience designing data layers & tracking specs
  • Strong Power BI (DAX, Power Query)
  • UX analytics tools (Hotjar, Clarity…)
  • Experience in CRO / A&B testing
  • Web scraping (Python or tools)
  • Sharp analytical + clear communicator
Nice to have
  • SQL / BigQuery
  • Core Web Vitals / performance optimisation
  • Ecommerce / digital product environment
