Support data‑focused project work across research, operations, or digital innovation teams.
Assist with data collection, cleaning, structuring, and documentation from multiple sources (e.g., databases, spreadsheets, and system outputs).
Under supervision, curate data, build models, create-reports, dashboards, or simple applications to support analysis and decision‑making.
Help document, improve, or automate business and technical processes.
Develop an understanding of internal IFF probiotic R&D projects.
Participate in role‑specific training and development sessions.
Collaborate with experienced research associates and scientists.
Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and good laboratory notebook practices.
Currently enrolled as a full‑time student at an accredited university or college.
Sophomore or above in a bachelor’s program, or first‑year student in a master’s program.
Pursuing a degree in Statistics, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Microbiology or a related technical field
GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred or demonstrated projects.
Ability to work according to the co‑op schedule structure:
A minimum of 16 hours/week but up to Full‑time (40 hours/week) during the summer, and
A minimum of 16 hours/week during the academic term, following a set schedule.
Eligible to work in the United States in accordance with applicable employment authorization requirements, including student visa programs.
Strong interpersonal skills and leadership experience (e.g., community service).
Prior experience with statistical analysis, data analysis, data engineering, process improvement, or technical project work (academic, co‑op, internship, or personal projects).
Strong ability to independently coordinate and prioritize work.
