SCADA Engineer / Senior SCADA Consultant (MicroSCADA / MicroSCADA X SYS600) – Energy & Utilities

We are looking for an experienced SCADA Engineer / Senior SCADA Consultant with expertise in MicroSCADA / MicroSCADA X (SYS600) or equivalent Utility SCADA platforms to support digital grid, substation automation, and utility modernization initiatives.
The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in SCADA configuration, database engineering, SCIL development, real-time monitoring and control, alarm management, and utility operations. The role will involve working closely with engineering, operations, and project teams to deliver robust and scalable SCADA solutions for power generation, transmission, and distribution environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, configure, and support MicroSCADA / MicroSCADA X (SYS600) solutions for utility and energy applications.
• Perform SCADA database configuration, object modelling, and system setup activities.
• Develop and maintain SCIL applications, scripts, and backend customizations.
• Configure alarms, events, trends, reports, and operational displays.
• Support real-time monitoring and control of utility assets and electrical networks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
• 5–10 years of experience in SCADA, Power Systems, Substation Automation, or Utility Automation.
• Hands-on experience with MicroSCADA / MicroSCADA X (SYS600) or equivalent Utility SCADA platforms.
• Experience in SCIL development and backend customizations.
• Strong understanding of SCADA database engineering and object modelling.
• • Experience with RTUs, IEDs, protection relays, and utility control systems.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Exposure to IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-101/104, DNP3, Modbus, or OPC protocols.
• Knowledge of Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Distribution Management Systems (DMS) is an advantage.
