Are you passionate about creating content that connects with audiences across social media, video, audio, and emerging digital platforms? Our Digital Content Creator internship is designed to help early-career media professionals gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, mission-driven media organization.
This paid internship provides meaningful exposure to audience engagement and multiplatform content production while offering opportunities to contribute to both national and local projects, while offering a unique opportunity to build real-world experience, expand your professional network, develop digital media skills, and contribute to meaningful storytelling that serves diverse audiences.
This position is grant-funded for a term of one year.
Responsibilities
Assisting with social-first content creation and digital storytelling;
Supporting audience engagement initiatives across digital platforms;
Researching audience trends and emerging media formats;
Contributing to short-form video, podcast, and multimedia projects;
Assisting with production, editing, and content development;
Participating in creative brainstorming and content experimentation;
Other relevant duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
Fewer than two years of professional experience in media, communications, content creation, or a related field;
Demonstrated interest in digital content, social media, and audience engagement;
Experience with one or more of the following:
Video editing;
Social media content creation;
Journalism or storytelling;
Podcast production;
Motion graphics;
Multimedia production tools.
Internship Program Details
Schedule: Part-time (20–25 hours per week)
Rate: $24 per hour
