Job Description

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a professional Digital Business Analuyst to join our UniQue Brussels team.

  • Analyse and structure business needs and translate them into functional and solution requirements.
  • Support business units in identifying appropriate digital solutions in line with the principles of reuse, corporate services, and digital-ready policymaking.
  • Assess and compare solution options (corporate services, existing systems, cloud or low-code solutions) and provide recommendations based on functional, technical, security, and governance considerations.
  • Contribute to IT governance processes, including preparation of documentation and inputs for the IT and Digital Management Board (ITDMB) and IT investment assessments.
  • Monitor technology trends and assess their potential relevance for the European Institution, with a particular focus on Artificial Intelligence and emerging digital solutions.
  • Support the identification, analysis, and prioritisation of AI use cases, including the assessment of feasibility, risks, value, and alignment with corporate guidance and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and support the AI network, including preparation of meetings, follow-up actions, awareness activities, and knowledge sharing.
  • Liaise with technical experts, service providers, and corporate services to support the evaluation and implementation of AI and innovative digital solutions.
  • Support the rollout, optimisation, and adoption of Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
  • Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency using Microsoft 365 and Power Platform solutions (e.g. Power Automate, Power Apps).
  • Facilitate coordination between business units, corporate digital services, and other corporate services regarding digital workplace and solution adoption.
  • Contribute to documentation, reporting, and communication related to digital initiatives, governance activities, and portfolio monitoring.
  • Participate in coordination meetings with stakeholders, project teams, and service providers.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

  • Master’s degree with 9 years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree with 13 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in business analysis, requirements management, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Experience in digital solution analysis, technology assessment, and solution selection within a corporate IT environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 collaboration tools and low-code solutions (e.g. Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform).
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence concepts, use cases, implementation approaches, and adoption considerations.
  • Understanding of responsible AI principles, risk considerations, and regulatory context is considered an asset.
  • Experience in analysing or supporting the implementation of AI or innovative digital solutions is considered an asset.
  • Experience in large-scale or public sector environments is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of business analysis methods, requirements gathering, and functional specification.
  • Understanding of IT governance principles, including reuse of corporate solutions and digital-ready policymaking.
  • Understanding of business process analysis and workflow automation opportunities.
  • Ability to analyse, structure, and formalise business needs and translate them into solution requirements.
  • Ability to assess and compare digital solution options and provide clear recommendations.
  • Ability to work autonomously while reporting progress, risks, and issues in a structured manner.
  • Certifications or formal training in business analysis, digital transformation, Microsoft 365/Power Platform, Artificial Intelligence, or project management methodologies (e.g. PM², PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent) are considered an asset.
  • Very good command of English, both oral and written.
