
Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
The Digital Asset Specialist is responsible for developing and governing the technology-wide IT Asset Management (ITAM) function and ensuring this aligns with the Agency’s Enterprise Asset Management.
This role ensures that Technology hardware assets are managed in a way that maximises value, reduces risk, and supports the Agency’s strategic goals. Leveraging ITAM best practices, the Digital Asset Specialist designs and implements policies and frameworks, that enable proactive, data-driven asset lifecycle management.

Salary will be appointed between $109,408 - $121,564 of band unless otherwise agreed, commensurate to skills and experience.

Qualifications
You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public service.
