Are you passionate about turning ideas into impactful digital campaigns? In this role, you’ll be at the heart of disease awareness initiatives, supporting the execution of multi‑channel digital campaigns, social media, influencer activities, and PR operations.

Your new role

As a Digital and Communications Specialist, you will provide operational support for the execution of digital marketing and consumer communications activities related to disease awareness campaigns, with a strong focus on digital channels and campaign delivery, support PR and media activities on an operational level.

Moreover, you will:

  • Support the implementation of paid and organic digital campaigns (social, programmatic, Google, native).

  • Upload creatives, manage platform setups, and monitor campaign delivery, pacing, and budgets.

  • Maintain social media content calendar, schedule posts, and monitor engagement and community signals.

  • Coordinate influencer activities on an operational level (timelines, content approvals).

  • Operate and update campaign microsites and disease awareness websites, coordinate web updates with agencies.

  • Prepare weekly/monthly digital performance reports and dashboards; highlight optimization opportunities.

  • Coordinate day-to-day execution with media, creative and web agencies, track deliverables and approvals.

  • Support PR activities (prepare approved materials, arrange interview logistics, track media coverage).

  • Support event activations and pharmacy visibility with digital assets and operational coordination.

  • Ensure compliance with internal approval and healthcare regulations; escalate issues to Marketing/Medical.

Your new department

Novo Nordisk's marketing department drives local strategy for its diabetes, obesity, and rare disease portfolios, blending scientific engagement with high-impact digital, patient-focused, and HCP (Health Care Professional) strategies. Marketing teams are structured around therapy areas (e.g., Cardiometabolic), regional units, and digital/customer experience groups.

Your skills & qualifications

We are searching for highly organized and agile candidates with excellent digital marketing competencies, besides communication and networking skills, who meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relation, business or a related filed, specialization in digital marketing is an advantage.

  • Hands-on experience in digital campaign execution (social media, Google, programmatic).

  • Basic analytics knowledge (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, platform reporting).

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and stakeholder coordination.

  • Ability to manage multiple operational tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Pharma/healthcare compliance experience advantageous.

  • Experience with influencer and/or content coordination is a plus.

  • Native Hungarian and fluent English skills (both written and spoken)
