As the Digital Analytics Specialist, you'll will be a part of helping Virgin Australia make smarter, data-driven decisions across our digital experiences. Supporting our website, mobile app, booking journey, loyalty program and emerging AI-powered experiences, you'll transform customer behaviour data into actionable insights that improve commercial performance, customer experience and product outcomes.
Working closely with Digital Product, Commercial, Customer Experience and Technology teams, you'll help shape how we measure success, identify opportunities for optimisation and drive analytics maturity across the business. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to significant digital analytics and MarTech capability uplift program while influencing decisions that impact millions of customer interactions every year.
This is a 24-month maximum term opportunity based in Brisbane or Sydney We support flexible and hybrid work. A mix of office and remote.
What you'll be doing
- Deliver meaningful analysis, reporting and customer insights across Virgin Australia's digital ecosystem, including web, app, booking, loyalty program and AI-enabled experiences.
- Translate customer behaviour and conversion data into clear recommendations that improve commercial outcomes and customer experience.
- Partner with Digital Product, Commercial and Technology teams to define measurement requirements and ensure accurate tracking across digital channels.
- Develop and enhance dashboards, reporting frameworks and self-service analytics solutions that support decision-making across the business.
- Support experimentation and Test & Learn initiatives through measurement design, performance analysis and post-test insights.
- Help drive the adoption and optimization of Adobe Analytics (AA) and the broader digital analytics ecosystem.
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality, measurement capability and analytics governance across digital platforms.
- Support AI measurement initiatives by helping track engagement, performance, and business impact of emerging digital experiences.
- Champion a culture of evidence-based decision-making through stakeholder enablement, knowledge sharing and analytics best practice.
You'll be great in this role if you have:
- Experience in digital analytics, customer analytics or a related data-focused role, ideally within a digital product, eCommerce, loyalty, or customer-centric environment.
- Strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to uncover meaningful insights from complex customer and digital performance data.
- Experience building reporting, dashboards and measurement frameworks that support business and product decision-making.
- The ability to communicate complex data and technical concepts in a way that is clear, engaging, and actionable for a broad range of stakeholders.
- Experience analysing customer journeys, conversion funnels and digital behaviours to identify optimisation opportunities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and a collaborative approach to working across Digital Product, Technology and Commercial teams.
- Curiosity, commercial acumen, and a passion for using data to solve problems and improve customer outcomes.
- Experience with Adobe Analytics and/or Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) will be highly regarded. Experience with other enterprise digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4) or similar is also valued.
- Exposure to experimentation, A/B testing, digital measurement, tag management, AI-enabled analytics or Martech platforms will be advantageous.
