What does our Dig Crew do?

Our Dig Crew technicians work on daily dig crew jobs such as excavation or replacing sewer and water lines.

• Assist Dig Crew with all operations including being able to move levers, depress foot pedals, and turn dials to operate power machinery, such as power shovels, stripping shovels, scraper loaders, or backhoes.
• Assist with the set up or inspection of equipment prior to operation.
• Become familiar with digging plans, machine capabilities and limitations, and with efficient and safe digging procedures in any given application.
• Observe hand signals, grade stakes, or other markings when operating machines so that work can be performed to specifications.
• Receive written or oral instructions regarding material movement or excavation.

• Some Plumbing knowledge
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Clean and neat appearance
• Strong customer service and communication skills
