The Registered Dietitian will serve as a nutrition expert and wellness advocate for clients and customers. He/she will be responsible for implementing nutrition presentations and demonstrations. All efforts will support the monthly wellness themed promotions while maintaining CulinArt Group’s Food First philosophy and signature Eat Well program integrity. The proper candidate will conduct business, at all times, with a clear understanding that customer service is a significant point of difference for CulinArt Group. Every interaction, whether with an internal team member or external customer is to be conducted with the highest degree of professionalism and with an understanding that the end result is to deliver service in an unparalleled manner.
Key Responsibilities:
· Effectively present nutrition and sustainability education, developed by CulinArt’s Wellness Director, across a variety of platforms for health fairs, lunch and learns, programs launches, client meetings and café wellness events
· Maintain in-depth and current knowledge of child and adult nutrition guidelines as outlined by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the American Medical Association
· Maintain in-depth and current knowledge on CulinArt’s Sustainability programs and initiatives
· Assist in manager and team-member Food Allergy and nutrition training programs
· Maintain Registered Dietitian credentials and remain in good standing with the Commission on Dietetic Registration by staying current with Professional Development Portfolio CPEs
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· BS in dietetics, culinary nutrition, food and nutrition, food service management or related
· Registered Dietitian in good standing with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
· Travel 100% in the San Juan Capistrano, CA area
· Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
· Experience in public speaking, preferably to all age groups
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high attention to detail
· Culinary and/or foodservice experience preferred
