PurposeThe Dietitian will align his/her scope of work with Jawonio’s Mission, while incorporating Jawonio’s Core Values as the guiding principle for all work activities.
The Dietitian plans and oversees nutritional services in Jawonio’s Community Living Services and Nursing & Health Related Clinical Services. The Dietitian is responsible for providing health care education by developing, implementing, and evaluating classroom and clinical instruction to support the orientation, ongoing educational needs, and professional development of employees & service recipients.

Education/
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Food Preparation or Nutrition from a regionally accredited college or university, plus completion of ADA approved post graduate Clinical Fellow Year or Master's Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition plus registration by the ADA and minimum 1 year experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general medical periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, managers, consumers, and families.
Math Ability:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Software:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Precision Care, Smartboard presentations and ability to learn new software systems.
