Job Description

Position: Dietitian

Location: Cobram

EFT/Hours: 0.6 EFT (48 Hours Per Fortnight)

Status: Fixed Term Part Time (Until July 2027)

Hourly Rate:

Grade 1 (Year 1 to 7) $32.7474 to $46.5211 per hour plus 12% superannuation

Grade 2 (Year 2 to 4) $47.8132 to $54.1026 per hour plus 12% superannuation

About the Role

NCN Health is seeking a Dietitian to join our Chronic Disease and Allied Health team.

The Dietitian is responsible for providing comprehensive dietetic and nutrition education, counselling and advice to individuals, families, community groups and organisations about food and nutrition for good health. The role will also work collaboratively with other team members to support health promotion activities related to diet and nutrition to the wider community.

About You

  • Vaccination against seasonal Influenza (mandatory)
  • Vaccination against Covid-19 (recommended)
  • Recognised degree or post graduate qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics, with eligibility for membership of The Dietitians Association of Australia and the Accredited Practicing Dietitian Program.
  • Knowledge of assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of current dietetic and nutrition best practice across a range of clinical settings, including community based, inpatient and residential aged care environments.
  • Knowledge or experience in providing Dietitian services within a client focused approach to service delivery that promotes client health and wellbeing, independence and self-management.

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
