What you’ll be doing:

  • Nutrition assessment on all referrals to the health centre
  • Provide counselling and instruction for patients on therapeutic diets, using group and individual forums and presentations
  • Provide education and in-services to patients
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
  • Maintain clinical records of referred patients
  • Attend care team meetings with the various programs on a rotational basis
  • Anticipate and contribute to department Quality Improvement initiatives
  • Attend weekly update meetings with discipline lead
  • Coach, direct, supervise and evaluate senior and graduate level University students

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from an accredited post-secondary institution
  • Valid registration with College of Dietitians of Ontario is required, member of Dietitians of Canada preferred
  • 5 years’ previous experience in Older Adult, Eating Disorders and Psychiatric care preferred
  • Collaborative, service-oriented, innovative and accountable
  • Commitment to working within Homewood’s Health and Safety Standards
  • Practice in accordance within the ethical guidelines of the Dietetics profession
